In this tour you will be accompanied by a driver who will provide information about the different places you visit. Sintra has had the charm of its different palaces and Castle of the Moors since the 19th century. VIII until the century. XIX. The gardens with Magnolia, Palmeiras, Cedros and Sobreiros, are some of the views by Sintra. Cape da Roca, the westernmost point of the European continent will be the place for the magnificent view over the ocean and the Guincho beaches. Cascais will know the fishing Villa where the luxurious houses and its narrow stone streets make Cascais a very picturesque place.

Pick up at a place in Lisbon to start the tour
On this tour you will visit the 15th century Queluz Palace, where its lush gardens and rooms show the wealth the royal family lived in the late 18th century. Optional tour on the tour itinerary
In SINTRA you will have the opportunity to enjoy a cultural, landscape and gastronomic visit. Sintra offers a diversity of palaces, such as Palacio da Pena, Palacio Nacional de Sintra, Quinta da Regaleira, Palacio Monserrate. The landscape throughout the tour becomes stunning with the forest and the mix of different architectural styles. Palacio Pena and Quinta da Regaleira needs to book visits in advance. In Sintra the visit to more than two palaces will have to be coordinated with the driver for planning the tour.
You will have the opportunity to enjoy Cabo da Roca, the westernmost point of the European continent. The views over the ocean and the beach of Guincho. Optional tour and depends on the route chosen Not included in Half Day
Guincho and Cascais may be places to sit and eat Fishes or Seafood from our coast. Optional view in the Half Day
Cascais is a fishing villa and is a must not miss where you can enjoy a walk through the narrow streets of the Villa and taste an ice cream at the Santini ice cream store. Optional Visit to Cascais on Half Day
Return to Lisbon passing through the village of Estoril and end of the tour.

We had a private tour with Rafael. He was very knowledgeable and personable. He was a safe and an excellent driver. Spoke very good English. He took exceptional pictures of us. He provided in detail information regarding all places we visited. He answered all of our questions.
Fantastic day trip! After I booked the experience, I was contacted right away by my guide and driver, Rafael. He arrived on time and was dressed in a suit, he then escorted me to a beautiful and spotlessly clean Mercedes sedan. He opened my car door every time, and was such a gentleman. Rafael was incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about his job, and I learned so much about the diverse and rich history of Portugal. The tour was perfect, we hit all the highlights and even though it was relaxed and unhurried, I felt like we did so much. I HIGHLY recommend this company and this experience!
Rafael was knowledgeable and very personable. Not only did we get a personalized itinerary for the day,, but he took us to a local restaurant for lunch with great food and service. Our guide, Rafael, was very knowledgeable about Sintra and went inside with us to Pena Palace for a personal tour. Also visted CasCais. What a beautiful town. We had lunch at a place on the beach on the way to CasCais.

Our private family day trip to Sintra from Lisbon was unforgettable, thanks to driver and guide Tiago! From the start, he impressed us well-dressed, professional, and speaking slowly in simple English since we’re not natives. Tiago is nice, friendly, talkative and informative, he loves sharing history and backgrounds of every spot. His passion shone through! We’d shared our plans and expectations, but he totally exceeded them with lots of surprises. Highly recommend!
All that is promised in this tour is impossible to deliver. We cut the Palácio Nacional e Jardins de Queluz and went directly to Sintra. There was barely enough time for lunch afterwards and a drive through of Cascais and no time to get out of the car. We even cut Cabo da Roca. It also seemed as though we basically had a driver and not a guide. Information at times was incorrect. Please be aware that Viator subcontracts these tours and the descriptions and what is actually delivered can be very different. I would suggest being very careful if booking through Viator.

You were informed that by visiting two or more palaces you might miss visiting other locations, as it is impossible to visit all palaces and sites in one day tour. You chose Pena Palace and Quinta da Regaleira, and you also said that visiting more than two palaces didn't make sense for you. Therefore, we adjusted the itinerary according to your preferences. Regarding the driver, I apologize if he was not to your liking, but our drivers try to provide the best possible tour so that the client feels happy at the end.
