We’ll pick you up from your accommodation and take you by car to explore Lecce, the stunning Baroque gem known as the “Florence of the South.” Discover breathtaking architecture and rich history as you visit: Basilica di Santa Croce – Marvel at its intricate Baroque façade and beautiful rose window. Piazza del Duomo – Enjoy the charm of this lively square surrounded by Lecce’s cathedral and historic buildings. Roman Amphitheater – Step back in time at this well-preserved ancient arena right in the city center. Porta Napoli – Admire this impressive 16th-century city gate welcoming you to Lecce. Historic Old Town – Wander through picturesque streets filled with artisan shops and cozy cafés. After soaking up Lecce’s beauty, we’ll drive to the enchanting coastal town of Otranto.
After your visit to Lecce, your guide will accompany you to Brindisi, the birthplace of the Roman poet Virgil, one of ancient Rome’s greatest writers and the author of the Aeneid, an epic poem that became a cornerstone of Roman culture. Brindisi is a beautiful coastal town, renowned for its ancient harbor marked by monumental Roman columns, where the Appian Way and the Trajan Way—two of the most important roads of the Roman Empire—met before continuing toward the Holy Land. You will explore the historic old town, including a small archaeological area over which the Teatro Verdi was built. At the end of the visit, your guide will escort you back to your accommodation.

Yurii was an excellent guide. Lecce was beautiful, well-paced, and informative, with the perfect balance of history and free time. Due to weather, Otranto wasn’t possible, and Yurii quickly pivoted to Ostuni. Despite the rain, he made the most of the day, adjusted plans seamlessly, and kept the experience enjoyable and stress-free. Professional, flexible, and genuinely attentive.
