what makes Uluwatu Temple spectacular is its cliff-top setting at the edge of a plateau 250 feet above the waves of the Indian Ocean. 'Ulu' means the ‘top’ or the ‘tip’ and 'watu' means a ‘stone’ or a ‘rock’ in Balinese. Several archaeological remains found here prove the temple to be of megalithic origin, dating back to around the 10th century.

As a solo female traveler, I felt very safe and looked after by my driver and guide, Putu Rika. He was very professional, gave me plenty of time to explore the temple, beach and gave a recommendation on where to sit for the fire show/dance. I've been on three tours since being in Bali and every single one of them, the driver/guides rushed me along. Putu Rika was thoughtful and took much appreciated photos of me, too. It was also great to be able to keep my beachwear in the car when not needed. I enjoyed this half day tour and would recommend. Ask for Putu Rika! You won't be disappointed!

This tour was absolutely amazing! Our guide was so friendly, knowledgeable, and made the whole experience super fun and stress-free. Uluwatu Temple was beautiful, and the views of the ocean were just stunning. The timing of everything was perfect — we never felt rushed. Our driver also made sure we were comfortable and shared great stories about the local culture. It was the perfect way to spend a half day in Bali. Highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting. This is a superb half day tour if you're looking to get out and see some Balinese culture. Our tour guide Putu was so knowledgeable when it came to the Uluwatu Temple and surroundings of Melasti Beach. The Kecak Fire Dance was beautiful and we highly recommend.

The Uluwatu Temple is so beautiful. It just makes you stare in wonder. Riko did a phenomenal job as our tour guide.
Riko was an amazing tour guide. Very knowledgeable and explained everything about the temples and white monkey folklore. The Uluwatu temple is by far the most beautiful I've seen. The cliffs and water crashing are so picturesque! Beware of the monkeys though. We saw a woman get her glasses snatched right off her face.

The views were amazing. The dance was very nice. Highly recommend to go for the sunset view. Just be wary of the monkeys. Putu was a great driver and guide and helped us during our tour/visit

Our driver for the tour was Riko and he was very welcoming and very informative about the locations we went to. He said we had a bit of spare time and took us to go look at the Patung Garuda Wisnu Kencana statue which is the 3rd largest statue in the world and wasn't part of the tour which was really nice of him. He took amazing photos and videos of us and knew all the best spots. The temple is really nice and the monkeys there are a bit naughty and like to take your belongings so make sure you hold on to them. The statue wasn't part of the tour but he took us to a good viewing spot to get some photos and the fire dance was really nice over the sunset at the beach.

Our guide (Putu) was very friendly and had a lot of knowledge about the places we visited. Varied tour (both culture and beach). Very nice that Putu arranges the entrance tickets (for example to the temple and the fired dance). You don't have to wait in line anywhere. Padang Padang beach was busy. But this tour is definitely recommended!
