We began at the Pyramids and the Sphinx, and Sherif somehow made these iconic sites feel personal rather than crowded or overwhelming. His knowledge goes far beyond memorised facts—he connects history, culture, and storytelling in a way that actually sticks with you. He is so passionate and enthusiastic about this subject. Standing in front of the pyramids while he explained their construction and purpose brought everything to life in a way no guidebook ever could. Next stop was the National Museum of Egyptian Civilisation, which could easily be a lot to take in—but Sherif paced it perfectly. He highlighted the most important pieces, explained the significance of the royal mummies, and answered every question with patience and depth. It felt like having a passionate historian guiding you, not just a tour guide. He then gave us some downtime to further explore the museum with no pressure of time constraints. The day whole day was relaxed, fun, memorable and genuinely enjoyable. What really sets Sherif apart is his professionalism and warmth. He’s punctual, organised, and clearly cares about giving his guests the best possible experience. At the same time, he’s friendly, easy to talk to, and adapts the day to your interests. By the end of the tour, it felt less like a guided trip and more like exploring Cairo with a knowledgeable friend. Sherif was not only the most incredible guide I’ve ever met, he was also the most amazing person! He noticed when my older dad was getting tired and adjusted the speed and the plan.
