We spent a great day touring Buenos Aires with Ricardo learning about history and local food. Even though it was raining, Ricardo made the experience very enjoyable. Highly recommend taking a tour with him!
I had a great time with Ricardo. Thanks to him, I fell in love with the city of Buenos Aire. Ricardo’s passion and motivation turns our morning into one of the most beautiful walks in the city. I would definitely recommend Ricardo as a guide, you will not be disappointed, you will discover Buenos Aires with all its charm. I can’t wait to return to Buenos Aires for another tour with Ricardo.
Ricardo was very knowledgeable and it was a great day to to walk around at a leisurely pace. He knows all the good spots and is very helpful even after the tour
an amazing experience, we visited all our places we had scheduled. We left places to have the excuse to return. hehehehehej
On very short notice I attempted to find a customizable tour for my partner and I and our two friends, Mike & Rich. We had some specific interests and only one day to do it during our extension in Buenos Aires after a cruise. Happy, the lead person of Discover the Hidden City of Buenos Aires, was incredibly great to work with being fully fluent, originally from the US, and very responsive to all communications. Not only did she give us one really great guide, Ricardo, she was so helpful with many little details about where to eat and other things we could do in the small amount of spare time we had pre and post the tour. The tour itself was fabulous. Ricardo arrived at the hotel exactly on time and took us on a brief walk where it was easier to round up two Uber cars to take us to Recoleta Cemetery, the transport included in the cost of the tour. Ricardo was not only very genuine and fun, he knew much about BA and always had interesting bits to share with us. He suggested we lunch at a great little spot, Panera Rosa, its very fun and delicious, and then walked us around the historic and beautiful neighborhood of Recoleta. As we had spent much more time at the cemetery than we had originally thought, after the agreed upon three hours, we decided to return to the hotel and cool off. No problem, the time was ours to do with as we wanted. Ricardo again found two drivers to return us to our starting point. We laughed some more, and said adios to our new friend Ricardo. Absolutely a great experience especially if you want to explore specific areas and are not keen on set timing. It was great to have someone who could take care of the details of transportation, where to eat, how to order, etc. AND be so personable, FUN, and knowledgeable. Thank you Happy and Ricardo for making our time in Buenos Aries so enjoyable.
Ricardo was the perfect guide for our small group; warm, funny, and insightful. Very knowledgeable about the city and ideal if your group is a little offbeat - I might add that he’s also LGBT-friendly, in no way intimidated by our joking and friendly banter. Ricardo and I connected quite well and continued to text after our tour ended; he provided me with some fine recommendations about restaurants and shopping in BA and of course music, of which we are both quite fond. He was an excellent choice by Happy for our gang from the States. Well done!
I had a wonderful time with Ricardo. He took me to the best underground spots in Buenos Aires that I wanted to visit. He knows the best bars and restaurants around the city. Great service and a very nice person. I totally recommend his service.
It was an amazing experience. They made me a custom tour, according to my times and my tastes. The person who took me was very friendly, punctual and attentive to my requirements. I recommend it 1000%, next time I hope I can repeat this experience accompanied by a friend and take advantage of knowing more special places in this city
We spent a lot of time in the city with Richi, who knows very nice and hidden details of the capital and its corners. It was an exquisite afternoon
