An ancient monastery complex, picturesquely located against the backdrop of steep red cliffs. You will admire the Martian landscapes, visit the Church of the Holy Mother of God and see the tomb of the Orbelian princes.
Areni-1 Cave - we will tell you when it was discovered and what valuable artifacts of the ancient civilization were found in it.
You will enjoy the local fantastic nature and hear the legend about the girl Shaki who escaped from captivity. p.s. please be informed that the waterfall is not woрking during winter
The longest passenger cable car of the pendulum type in the world. It passes over the gorge of the turbulent mountain river Vorotan and connects the village of Halidzor and Tatev Monastery. If you wish, you can ride it and look at Armenia from a height of 300 meters.
A historical monument of the 9th century, one of the oldest and most famous monastery complexes in Armenia, a pearl of Armenian architecture.
160 meters long and 1.5 meters wide. It is worth looking down - the height takes your breath away! We will stop halfway and enjoy the picturesque gorge.
We will walk around the ancient rock settlement, where 15 thousand people once lived. We will look at both natural and man-made gorges and caves.

Long day but well worth it if you want to see all the sights of southern Armenia in one day. Sos, our driver, was excellent. He was punctual, friendly and safe. He made an effort to communicate in English. We would highly recommend him.

The tour option you chose did not include guide service, which is why you had only a driver. However, as you kindly mentioned, he still tried his best to communicate with you in English.
Overall it is very nice experience with a lot of things to do and to see during the trip. Thx to our guide Vazgen we visited also a bonus point on the back way to Yerevan.
