Marae Arahurahu is one of the best-preserved ancient Polynesian temples in Tahiti, located in the lush valley of Paea. Once a sacred site for spiritual and social ceremonies.This sacred site, once used for important Polynesian rituals, is beautifully restored and offers a unique glimpse into the island’s traditional culture. With stone platforms, tiki statues, and a tranquil setting, it’s an ideal stop for those seeking history, nature, and a deeper connection to Tahiti’s spiritual roots.
The Caves of Mara'a are a natural wonder hidden within Tahiti’s lush west coast. Surrounded by dense tropical vegetation, these large freshwater caves are known for their cool mist, fern-covered entrances, and quiet, mysterious atmosphere. Once visited by Paul Gauguin, the site offers a peaceful escape and a glimpse into the island’s natural beauty and legends.
Located in Papara on Tahiti’s southwest coast, is one of the island’s most popular surf spots. Vaimahuta stands at approximately 80 meters (262 ft), Haamaremare Rahi is the tallest at around 100 meters (328 ft), and Haamaremare Iti measures about 40 meters (131 ft). Accessible via a scenic short hike, the falls are surrounded by lush vegetation and offer stunning photo opportunities. Maui is very knowledgeable, speaks great English and passionate about the island of Tahiti. We had huge rains, that closed many of the roads. Maui was very accommodating and quick to make alterations to our island tour, so we were able to see beautiful Tahiti.

Great tour. Saw all the island and Māowi our guide was a lovely guy and gave us lots of interesting information. We were on a cruise as d booked this independently and so glad we did as none of the cruise excursions went all the way round the island. Beautiful island we so much to see. Would highly recommend. Picked up and dropped off at the cruise terminal and was so easy to locate guide. Also took into consideration my somewhat limited mobility due to needing a joint replacement! Excellent trip!

Originally we were going to rent a car and circle the island but, boy are we glad we didn't. Maui, our guide showed us things we never would have found by ourselves. He was so wonderful --highly thoughtful and warm. He made it more of a cultural experience and not merely a sightseeing tour by his conversation and pacing. He also brought plentiful cold fruit and water to keep us refreshed. Another factor that was good was the great communication from the tour provider, Arthur. He made great suggestions for our tour timing that cut down on crowds. Love, love this tour.

A great experience! From the WhatsApp reservation to the prompt on time start. Our driver and guide Maui was so knowledgeable and personable, he adjusted the tour to our requirements and interests. Artur our tour guide was exceptional and the tour was very well done. Our van was clean, comfortable and most importantly, air conditioned! Artur was very informative about the Polynesian culture and he loved showing us his lovely island of Tahiti. Along with fresh water and hand towels he even provided us with a range of fresh fruits to snack on during our tour. Top shelf tour. Highly recommended!
