This is literally the high point of the tour. The view from the east face of the mountain is magnificent and includes the angled rock that simulates an abyss. First, we climb a very steep slope using the jeep as far as possible. Then there are 1.5 km left through the forest, which takes about 40 minutes on average.
Here we will admire the most beautiful and preserved sunset in Rio de Janeiro (to the west), over the waters of Marambaia and the Atlantic Ocean. The package already includes a celebration.
And on the way back to Barra da Tijuca we'll still enjoy some surprises.

However, Centro da Cidade and Santa Teresa require their own transportation to the meeting point at Barra da Tijuca 2) IN THE CASE OF SHARE TOUR (Tuesdays and Thursdays): Possible to go to the guests in the vicinity of Barra da Tijuca. Otherwise, we should meet: * SHELL station next to the B-Mar exit of the Ocean Garden Metro, due to heavy traffic between Barra da Tijuca and the South Zone.

Amazing experience! The guide is excellent: sends all the information in advance, guides well about the meeting point and conducts the tour with a lot of animation and astral high. During the entire journey, he supports the group and cares about providing the best possible experience for everyone. Another thing that makes a lot of difference is the pictures. It’s not just taking pictures for taking, it’s really dedicated to looking for good angles and the best lighting, which makes the result look beautiful. This was hands down the best experience to have in Rio! Alvaro is such an amazing guide who you can tell does his job with immense love which is so contagious! Ladies and gentlemen, we are dealing with a champion here. Please note that I usually have neither the time nor the inclination to write reviews, but in this case I will inevitably have to make an exception. Here we are dealing with Alvaro, a man who loves his job and loves his country, and what came out of it was a perfect experience.I have traveled to hundreds of places around the world and have never encountered such a level of attention towards their guests. Coming from previous work experience, he applies the total quality method (Toyota method) which means attention to the smallest details and the well-being of his guests as if we were his family ("We are a family"). Furthermore, Alvaro has a great culture (speaks fluent Spanish and English in addition to Portuguese) and knowledge of his country and answered a thousand curiosities and questions in a 360-degree way on many aspects of today's Brazil. So, starting from Alvaro's great expertise and enthusiasm, keeping in mind that the 18 beaches and Pedra do Telegrafo he showed us are world-class in beauty, the result was a truly pleasant experience, filled with wonderful emotions and a memory that will last a lifetime.
