Wahiba Sands desert is a highlight of any trip to Oman. The impressive orange sand dunes offer a unique experience, especially watching sunset on the top of the dunes it is indeed a beautiful experienced. The camel ride experienced and visiting the Bedouin House where you can experienced the Traditional Omani Costume on their face (this is only optional) and drink an Omani Coffee and Dates for Free.

We depart Muscat, we drive towards Wadi Bani Khalid. This is one of the biggest and most beautiful wadis that Oman is famous for. The wadi canyon is impressive, with its amazing steep walls and breathtaking crystal-clear water pools it is awesome to look at on its own. However, one can also enjoy a swim in the relaxing cool freshwater pool or just sunbathe. The wadi is so grand that you can even have the chance to walk deeper right into the wadi itself or maybe visit its hidden caves.
we drive towards Wahiba Sand Desert. we will visit a traditional Bedouin house where we can try Omani coffee and , also you can ride Camel and drive to the dunes and take lots of photos. Then after we will watch Sunset at the top of the dunes. ten after the sunset we will drive back to muscat.

Ahmed was a fantastic driver and guide. He was professional and knowledgeable. He was patient with our family and did not rush us through the experience. Gave opportunities for pictures and time to relax.
What a trip - it’s about a 2 hour trip there and the same back from Muscat but well worth it, the Wadi Bani Khalid is amazing, quite easy to walk to from the car parking area and spent thoroughly enjoyable time swimming in the natural pools and letting the doctor fish nibble your toes! Then it’s onto the desert for some coffee and dates, we enjoyed the camel ride but it’s optional! Then the sunset high up on the dunes, sitting with our wonderful guide Abdul who made us lovely tea to watch the sunset. Then back down and along to Desert Rose Camp for an evening buffet dinner, watch the stars and listen to some local music before the drive back. Our guide Abdul was the most kind and generous man, he told us all about the areas we visited and the local cultures and lifestyles, always on hand to take photos for us and he even gave us his tea we shared with him in the desert ! Thank you Abdul for a wonderful day and we heartily recommend this trip
