The tour includes a panoramic tour followed by a visit to the historic part of the city, among its winding alleys and steep stairways, poor people's cave-houses and majestic baroque palaces of the nobility, vegetable gardens and wide terraces, among which suddenly miserable chimneys and strange bells appear underground churches. The tour lasts 2-3 hours and includes a visit to the rock house-museum of Matera's traditional peasant culture and life (the cost of the group entrance fee is 2€ ). During the tour it will be possible to stop at one of the characteristic locations, inside the caves, to taste typical products of Lucanian cuisine. Free time after the tour (tour duration and free time as agreed).

Superb reviews on the churches history and their architecture . Also time to stop in selected places for lunch , dinner and visit to wine producers .
