Private Spice Tour in Zanzibar with Pick Up

Description
A spice tour is a must-do while you are on the island of Zanzibar, known as the Spice Island. Learn from your guide about its claim to fame during the 19th century as one of the world’s leading producers of spices, such as clove, nutmeg, cardamon , ginger, limon grass, vanilla, jackfruit ,cinnamon and so on. these aromatic treasures at a spice farm are available as powder so you can buy to the spice shop and use at your home the tour can take up to 3-hours . During the tour feel free to ask a questions so that you can learn more about spice . Moreover this tour is very unique because the price you pay is lower than the service you get so I just tell the travellers to work with Abdi smart tour guide to have a great experience and enjoy their holiday. Apart from spice tour I also organize other activities that are available in zanzibar so feel free to ask me when you want to do other activities and I can help to organize for better price .

Itinerary
You will be overwhelmed by the abundance of botanical species growing in these gardens – exotic spices, fruits, and vegetables. Many of the spices have medicinal properties and are still used by the local population to cure certain maladies. Savor different spices, cinnamon, cardamom, nutmeg, vanilla, or black pepper. Taste a variety of fruits ranging from the rose apple to the guava. Some rare plants like henna, perfume tree and lipstick tree are used for their value in preparing cosmetics. Tour guides will take you on a walking tour of the spice farms at Kizimbani or Kidichi; picking bunches of leaves, fruits and twigs from bushes and inviting you to smell or taste them to guess what they are. Pretty much all the ingredients of the average kitchen spice rack are represented – cinnamon, turmeric, garlic, ginger, chilies, black pepper, nutmeg, cloves and vanilla – the list goes on and on.

vielen Dank für die Bewertung, willkommen zurück
Visiting the spices farm was pleasant and interesting. Our guide Ibrahim « Latutu » was kind and entertaining. We really spend a good time and recommend the tour for everyone.
Thank you Laurence You promised and Did it Wish you all the best and welcome back
I found this tour to be very interesting. The guide would crumble leaves and have you guess what spice you'd be learning about. I liked that interaction. I expected a field with rows of spices but it's not like that. I found that interesting! The guides helper made me a pretty purse, ring, necklace, and crown of palms and flowers; loved it! The guy climbing the coconut tree and then us all drinking from our individual coconut was just ok. There was the opportunity to buy spices and fruits to eat. Monkeys were playing in the forest. They were cute. Overall a good tour!
Thanks in advance for your great review , wish you all the best And see you next time
We have spend about two weeks in Paje - at this time Abdi took care of us and helped us a lot with tours and was very flexible to suit our schedule. He is very professional, knows whole Island. Tours were adjusted to our personal plans and needs. No issues with communication - Abdi speaks English very well and always checking on us if all has been delivered as promised. Summarising - very professional and individual approach, all was as agreed and planned. We highly recommend Abdi as Your local guide and person to contact if You want to explore Zanzibar and it’s best. We had an amazing time - thx Abdi and all the best!

This is one of the most beautiful trips in Zanzibar! Iur guide Abdi was attentive and very professional. The spice farm is a must see foe anyone visiting this beautiful island. Its one thing ro cook using spices, its another when u see the origins, hear the stories, taste the food and just enjoy the bountiful spices and produce this island offers. Thanks a lot Abdi foe making it a memorable trip🙏🏼🙏🏼
Thank you for the review it's something very helpful to my business
ABDI picked 12 of us up from our Hotel in Nungwi, and transported us to the JAMBO Spice Farm where we started the afternoon with a delicious LUNCH! They served many traditional dishes such as Rice with Coconut and Cardamom, Fried Fish, Green Banana Stew, a Tomato and Coconut sauce and a luvly Red onion relish. We dined well! Next, they let us taste some delectable local fruit, such as Watermelon, Red Bananas, and what I would describe as Pomelo (similar to a pink grapefruit, with a green skin). Then our guide walked us all over the Farm Picking, Plucking and Pointing out Flowers, Pods and Seeds of the many fragrant familiar and unfamiliar spices. Some of the highlights included Vanilla, Black and Red Pepper, Nutmeg, Huge Durian and Ginger Root. They made us the customary tropical leaf crowns and bracelets for the ladies. We even got to see ‘Mr. Butterfly’ climb to the top of a towering coconut palm. My only complaint would be the Spice Market, which had a lovely selection of Afro-Indian spices, but it was poorly lit, and wayyy overpriced compared to the larger pouches of spices we saw later in Stone Town. WHAT A LOVELY EXCURSION!
