Absolutely fantastic!!

Booking this tour was so great, very responsive and informative about figuring out an itinerary of distilleries for the day. Peter was a fantastic guide! Great driver and so personable. We got to see and do all the things we planned for and finished around the expected time. And while we were on a tour Peter reserved our family a table for lunch, so helpful! We had such a great time, would absolutely recommend to anyone wanting to visit multiple distilleries!

We would do it again immediately!

Gavin completely catered to our wishes during the planning, and Peter, perfectly styled in a Scottish manner, was an excellent guide, very empathetic, accommodating, and an outstanding whiskey taster - it was authentically drunk from the Quaich. Very noble goods! It was truly a perfect experience!

Top-notch personalised Speyside whisky tour

Excellent, comfortable and flexible tour to some unreal distilleries, great tastings and even greater stories. From initial enquiry through to the tour itself, Gavin was very responsive and helpful in tailoring a Speyside whisky tour that specifically met our tastes and needs. His friendly demeanour and deep knowledge of the area made the day go smoothly with many, many more tastings than we would have thought, trying some truly amazing whiskies from around the region and beyond. Having lived in other countries, such as Australia and NZ, his understanding of other cultures and his communication skills are top notch. For ALL your Whisky tour needs in Inverness and Speyside - Gavin is your bloke!

Lovely day tasting across three very different distilleries with a tasty lunch spot thrown in!

We had a wonderful day tasting with Peter. His roomy BMW made for a comfy ride for the four of us. Gavin recommended we include Macallan (thank you for that), and then Peter directed us to one of his favorite distilleries, GlenAllachie which was a nice change from the glitz of Macallan and home to some excellent award-winning whiskies! He then had lunch reservations for us set up at the lovely Mash Tun where we had the amazing Sunday roast - honestly one of our best meals in Scotland. We finished the day at Glenfiddich where I was able to enjoy their gin (Hendricks) and tonic in front of a roaring fire while our husbands had the last scotch tasting of the day. Peter actually had more stops lined up for us, but we had to whimp out - sorry Peter! Thank you again for your excellent selections!

Amazing day with Gavin

Gavin is an absolute delight. We had such an amazing day touring the Speyside wineries with him. Highly recommend Benromach, Benriach, Aberlour and Tomatin distilleries as well. Gavin was also generous in sharing some of his favorite whiskies with us from his personal quaich. Highly recommended.

The only whiskey tour you should book in Scotland

If you want a once in a lifetime experience while visiting Scotland you need to book a private whiskey tasting tour with Gavin. From booking to the tour, Gavin was nothing but accommodating, communicative, generous, and knowledgeable. Gavin created a tailored itinerary centered around our interests and preferences as well as his personal recommendations. We had so much fun with Gavin and were able to try countless drams of truly amazing and unique whiskeys. I will note that tour fees and distillery tastings are separate. In addition, Gavin also has many whiskeys to try from his private collection. Gavin truly provided a seamless and unforgettable experience, can’t recommend this tour enough!

Absolutely amazing!

Absolutely amazing. Gavin and Bob were gracious, friendly and kind. Bob took us safely to our destinations - Benromach, Cardhu and Glenlivet. Gavin met us at Benromach and regaled us with Talisker and white chocolate. I would not hesitate for a second to contact Gavin on my next scotch whisky odyssey through the Speyside or Highland regions.
