Itinerary
Meeting point. We start out tour after a briefing, and meander through llandudno and its promenade before taking the dive of the orme
A magical drive around Great Orme's one-way road with its spectacular mountain drop off into the sea. This is the longest coastal one way road in the UK. Keep an eye out for rock climbers on the limestone cliffs, fishermen casting off the rocks, an abundance of wildlife, birds, wild goats, and often dolphins and seals, as well as views towards the Snowdonia mountains and Anglesey
We pass through the ancient village of Conwy where you will get the see one of the most beautiful castle settings in Europe
View the guarding Welsh Dragon of Snowdonia, hidden in woodland overwatching for invaders to our lands. (limited parking - if parking space unavailable we have to bypass this stop)
Next, you'll head on to Penrhyn Quarry for a chance to see how our mining history has moved with the times and merged with the adrenaline adventure industry of today's generations. Once the world's largest slate quarry to now the world's fastest zip line!
We enter the Snowdonia national park, and the glicial valley of Nant FFrancon. The mountains and lakes here start to envelope us, and the senery takes a dramatic change
Another majestic stop with breathtaking scenery, however next to the lake of Ogwen we learn about a historic find at the lake which is linked to the legend of King Arthur and Excalibur
No visit to Snowdonia would feel complete unless you ventured down into one of its many thousands of mines from all the ages. Here we visit a self guided tour of an old copper mine and its history and workings are revealed.
Wonder the quaint mountain village of Beddgelert where you will learn the legend of Gelert the faithful hound and how the village has it historic name. And take a walk to the historic monument where Gelert was laid to rest.
Stop at Snowdonia viewpoint. Know as one of the UK's most spectacular views, this 360 panoramic view of snowdonia's horseshoe, gwynant valley and lakes, and the glyder's make it a photographers dream.
Another of snowdonias spectacle. Pen y pass is one of Wales most beautiful drives. A V-shaped valley, dramatic scenery on the drive on route to Llanberis
A few minutes walk through woodland are worth the views alone. Dolbadarn Castle, built by the Welsh Prince Llywelyn the Great during the early 13th century is at the base of the Llanberis Pass and overlooks Padarn Lake. The castle was important to both militarily and as a symbol of Llywelyn's power and authority.
A quick photo opportunity, looking up the beautiful lake of Padarn towards Mount Snowdon

It was an excellent tour covering most of North Wales. Chris is an amazing tour guide who gave us loads of information. I booked really last minute and the website kept saying to book 2 people but when I called Chris, he was very flexible and booked me as a single person. He even took the payment later. It was an amazing day and I had a great time. I highly recommend going on this tour.
We were the first customers following further easing of the CoViD-19 restrictions and although some of the usually available sights were not opened yet to the public, we still had a great time. The view of Snowdonia was quite an experience and so were the waterfalls and Port Meirion. Our guide Chris was very knowledgeable and we learned a lot about Welsh history as well. Highly recommended!
Chris, who took us on this tour in his comfortable van did a great job of showing us around his country. His knowledge and his love for his land is evident. I keep recommending him to anyone who cares to listen.
Thoroughly enjoyed the VIP treatment from Chris, very knowledgeable about Wales and history of the whole area. Recommend tour.

Excellent 👌.Chris was a great tour guide. We enjoyed every bit of the adventure. Chris has a great depth of knowledge about the areas visited. He engaged all of us with his chats. Money well spent.Would gladly encourage others to go on the tour. Possibly getting closer to Snowdon would have been better still.
Thank you for taking time to write us a review. Were glad you enjoyed your tour with us, we would have loved to take you closer to snowdon summit, unfortunately pen y pass where we visited is as close as we can get unless you decide you wish to climb to the summit, maybe this is your next challenge. We hope to see you again in the future on your travels. Kind Regards
Chris our guide was magnificent! His love of the area and its history was infectious. We started exactly on time with a drive down the longest one way in the UK, the Great Orme. And a sighting of the "goats". Then, up into the Snowdonia National Park. The scenery was gorgeous. Throw in stops at the National Slate Museum and Llyweyn's Dolbadarn Castle. At the slate museum don't leave without checking out the secret place that Chris has! We finish the tour with a stop at World Heritage site Caernarfon Castle. 5 stars all the way.
Thank you for such a lovely review. We are glad you enjoyed your day with us, and hope to see you again on your travels. Kind Regards

This one-day tour with Christian was great. We took the steam train to the summit of Mt. Snowdon, toured the National Slate Museum and learned about the history of slate mining, and explored the castles at Conwy and Caernarfon. Despite the rain, we had a wonderful day.
Thank you for your review. We are glad you had such a wonderful day with us, unfortunately the rain pays us a visit at times, however it didn't spoil your day and were happy you appreciated our wonderful country and area. Kind Regards
