What an amazing experience so informative Was a bit worried at first about riding the scooters (I’m 60) however had no trouble KC was a wonderful guide and knew her city well! Would recommend anyone visiting Florence to do this was soo much fun!
Thank you for joining us!
We had a great experience on this tour. Andrea was very friendly, knowledgeable about the history of the city and was very helpful and encouraging about riding the scooters. I was a little nervous about riding the scooter as I'd never used one before but I was made to feel at ease quickly. The tour takes you all around the city and is a great introduction for your first day. Also has plenty of great photo opportunities. Highly recommend booking this tour around Florence, it definitely beats a walking tour!
This is a worthwhile and fun tour. The folks at Fat Tire Tours care about your safety and give good tours. For their electric scooters they carefully check you out and provide helmets. The tours themselves are informative, and you get around quickly. There is always the chance of an accident, so be sure you're comfy on one of these scooters. The streets are a bit bumpy, which can be a challenge, but the bike paths are fairly smooth. This is a neat way to see Florence for 2 hours.
It was a great ride with a great guide. The guide knowledge and friendship made our tour a great experience, fun and educated
My wife and I enjoyed a 2hr tour with just us and our guide, Brian. We always find a Segway or e-scooter tour is a great way to scope out a city, covering lots of distance but learning history, locating key sights, and taking recommendations from our guide. This tour was no different. The highlight sight of the tour from outside the city looking back over the panorama with the cathedral dominating. Brian, our guide, was exceptional: knowledgeable and interesting, both in what he told us and in answering our questions, had a great sense of humour. The scooters were easy to use and fun. Highly recommended.
We originally booked the e-scooter tour but they allowed us to switch to the e-bike as my son got sick 15 minutes prior to our tour. They were very accommodating, and we were grateful. We had “Guido the Guide” and he was very knowledgeable. We opted for the hill tour and it was beautiful. A perfect day for a bike ride. My husband and I hadn’t been on a bike in years and we never used an e-bike before. They were very easy to operate; even for an out-of-shape novice like me. We had a wonderful time and recommend Guido and Fat Tire Tours for anyone looking for a fun tour experience.
Guido, our tour guide, was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and professional as we made out e-scooter journey throughout the city. Admittedly, driving through the crowds was a bit scary but we made it through just fine. Would highly recommend!!!
The "E-Scooter: Panoramic tour of Florence" was a highlight of my weekend trip to Florence. My two friends and I were treated to essentially a private tour of the city's streets and famous spots, culminating in a guided tour to the top of a hill overlooking the entire city and surrounding areas. The highlight was definitely seeing the Basilica, the 4th largest in the world, from this vantage point - a sight that truly took our breath away. Lasting around 2 hours, the tour included several stops where we had free time to explore on our own. The scooters were well-maintained and provided a fun and efficient way to navigate the city. Our guide, Brian, was fantastic. He was friendly, spoke great English, and knew all the best spots to visit. He made sure to check in on us throughout the tour, ensuring that we were having a great time. Overall, this tour is a must-do if you're in Florence for the weekend. It offers a unique perspective of the city and is well worth the money. I highly recommend it.
This was a great experience and fun way to see many of the main attractions around Florence city. The E-Scooters were a lot of fun and Poalo was an excellent tour guide. A very knowledgeable local with obvious passion for his marvelous city. Would recommend this tour without hesitation.
Well organized and planned tour. Fat Tire Tours did a great job across the board, with clear instructions prior, organized setup at the outset, and a great tour and guide provided. Our guide was very friendly, entertaining, and also was good at keeping us safe on the tour and scooters. I wish I could remember his name, it may have been Andrea after looking at the site? This was my first time in Florence and I found the planned path to be busy, but very safe. Traffic was a concern of mine before we attended. Well worth it, you get a great feel for the city overall, and discuss the important areas with great views.
