Where was the mixup?

The company viator sent for this trip tried to take us on a different tour. Ruth was very abrupt, did not know why we would want to go to the place we had paid $400+ for and had an argument with another driver. We asked her to find the excursion we paid for and get the right driver, she did not, and we are asking for a refund, in total. Very upset!

Operator response

Good evening! Firstly, I would like to reiterate my apologies for what happened. The driver/guide Rute has been working for this company since it was founded 14 years ago! This is the second complaint from customers with whom Rute has been on tours. She is a very experienced driver/guide and has done the schist village tour dozens of times and will continue to do so. Rute thought it was the Lisbon tour (when the first booking was made, that was what was written, then with the changes it became the schist villages and I didn't change it). Because that's what was on the worksheet, she called me and I told her it was the schist villages. We don't wake up the same way every day, I know that's no excuse, but it's a fact. Once again, our apologies. Best regards, Translated with DeepL.com (free version)

Exploring Schist Village

The most memorable part was the warmth and friendliness of Miguel (driver) and restaurant owner. The sites were spectacular and the village people were nice. We went on election Sunday so not much was open but the experience was excellent since we like exploring things off the beaten path.
