We did the 3 hour Santa Monica & Venice Beach Bike Tour. Our tour guide was Geoff. It was me, my wife, and our two kids. It was a great activity! The bike store was accommodating in finding an electric bike that was a good size for each of my daughters. Our tour guide, Geoff, did a fantastic job going a slow pace in the beginning to ensure everyone in our group was comfortable with the bikes. He stopped many times to point out interesting facts and history. The tour was fun. The bikes were in good condition. Our kids said this was one of their favorite activities during their vacation. I would recommend doing this!
We hired bikes from Jeff of Unlimited Biking and used them to cycle along the sea front path from Santa Monica to beyond Little Venice. Our bikes were comfortable, well maintained, and came with helmets, a sturdy lock, a map and lots of great advice from Jeff about where to stop for food and drinks, all of which turned out to be great suggestions. Cycling in this area is incredibly safe with a purpose built cycle path that takes you all the way, there are so many beautiful views with lots of opportunities to stop and take photos. For modern, well maintained bikes from a provider that’s easy to find on the sea front and a guy who really wants you to have a great time, then Jeff at Unlimited Biking is your guy!
