Itinerary
This San Sebastian bike adventure begins in the historic street of Reyes Católicos. After meeting your guide and getting acquainted with your new wheels, we’ll head towards historic Buen Pastor Cathedral
First bridge built in the city with historical information. Perfect place to appreciate some emblematic buildings of the city for their spectacular architecture and see how the city has been growing over the decades.
Next, we’ll glide through one of the city’s busiest and hippest neighbourhoods: Gros. Here, we’ll take time to mingle with the locals and we’ll show you where to find the best people-watching spots. At Cataluña Plaza you’ll learn about life in the city, as you’re guide talks about the cost of living in this popular local neighbourhood.
As you cycle, we’ll enjoy stunning views of the Bay of Biscay and admire the brave surfers along Zurriola beach
We will also pass by one of the most important and controversial buildings in San Sebastián, Kursaal — boasting a glamourous history.
An emblematic building that separates the old town from the new part.
Spectacular view of the city and the ocean.
We’ll follow the contemporary boulevard that separates the Old Town from the new part of the city and head towards La Concha beach, one of Europe’s most beautiful beaches where we’ll stop to appreciate the views. Learn why there are so many small trees in this area, and how a local legend connects San Sebastián with Japan.
The bidegorri bike path is next; we’ll follow the route along La Concha beach up to the palace of Miramar, before arriving at one of the locals’ favourite beaches in the city: Ondarreta.
Enjoy the view of the city from another side and see some art of contemporary artists.
From there, your San Sebastián sightseeing bike tour takes you to the end of the bay, where nature meets civilisation. Discover some Basque modern art before veering through one of the city’s oldest, most authentic neighbourhoods and toward a “secret passage” that connects two parts of the city. Ride through districts that show the many faces of San Sebastián, from the workers’ city to the aristocratic belle époque of the past.
Follow the Urumea River back to the city centre, passing villas and bourgeois palaces.
Our tour ends here. If you are hungry, Reyes Catolicos is a great place to find some food. Or join our Pintxo tour! Before you go, don’t forget to ask your expert local guide.

5* experience. Our guide was Carlos and he was fantastic. Very knowledgeable and warm and personable. The tour was scheduled 10:30am to 1pm. We were having a great time and Carlos seemed to be enjoying us, and he let this run long. The tour covered 15-16km, but was really easy with the eBikes, which were in excellent condition. Highly recommended. Carlos, thank you! You charmed us.
We are so gald to know you had a great time with CArlos and enjoyed the ebikes. Wish you the best
Paulo was an incredible and informative guide for this family of six adults wanting to know more about beautiful San Sebastián. The bikes were top quality, the riding easy and we learnt a lot! The icing on the cake was the email we received with tips and reccd for eating! Highly recommend great value for $$

This bike tour was one of the best. Alin was an amazing guide. Very knowledgeable and was able to give us a great overview of San Sebastian and the culture of the area. We were a family of four with two teenage girls and they absolutely loved the tour.

Fabulous tour, knowledgeable, helpful and friendly guide, Alin. We learned about interesting history of the city, the uniqueness of Basque culture and Alin shared tips for our stay in San Sebastián. Don’t miss this!
Thanks so much
We had booked a cycling tour in San Sebastián and we had a fantastic guide! He doesn't just cycle around, but tells a lot about the city of course, but also a lot of information about the Basque Country and the culture around it! This is highly recommended if you want to understand a little more about this region!
Thanks so much for your review
Jacob was the tour guide. His entertaining vibe and vast knowledge of the Basque country made the tour immensely enjoyable. Strongly recommend Jacob, oh and the tour..🙏
Thanks so much for your reviews. Very glad you enyoyed it
As a family of six with 4 teenagers this was one of our highlights of our trip! Carlo was an incredible guide and his expertise and guidance not only on the tour, but also from his recommendations about restaurants, beaches and other sites was amazing. He even taught us some local Basque phrases to use. The kids were pleasantly surprised with the ELECTRIC bikes which made the tour around the city easy, exciting and a new adventure on its own. Carlo recognized what would appeal to teenagers and made it fun and interesting. He emailed us a list of bars and restaurants to visit and we ended up planning our own Pintxos (Tapas) Tour where we ran into Carlo that evening out and about. A memorable trip and something we would recommend at the very beginning of your stay so you get to see the entire city and what you can explore for the rest of your stay. Highly recommend and would repeat. Eskerrik Asko Carlo!!!!
We are so glad you had a great time! Thanks for your time writting your review
