Itinerary
Your tour starts with a pickup from your hotel or any location in Jaipur. Our friendly driver will meet you and help with your bags. Then, start your journey from Jaipur to Agra in a comfortable air-conditioned car. Enjoy the drive through the Indian countryside. Your driver will make sure you have a safe and pleasant trip. The drive takes about four hours. You can stop anytime for tea, snacks, or a restroom break.
When you reach Agra, you will meet your local tour guide. The guide will take you to all the famous places and share interesting stories about each monument.
Your first stop is the beautiful Taj Mahal, one of the Seven Wonders of the World. It was built by Emperor Shah Jahan for his wife, Mumtaz Mahal. Your guide will tell you about its history and help you take great photos of this amazing white marble building.
After visiting the Taj Mahal, enjoy a delicious buffet lunch at a 5-star hotel in Agra. You can taste different Indian and international dishes in a relaxing and clean atmosphere.
Next, visit the grand Agra Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Walk through its red sandstone walls, palaces, and courtyards while your guide tells you how Mughal emperors lived here long ago.
Finally, visit the Tomb of Itimad-ud-Daulah, also known as the Baby Taj. It is a small but very beautiful monument made of marble and precious stones. It was built before the Taj Mahal and looks like a model of it.Best place to view Taj Mahal. He then spruced it up with an octagonal pool, white walkways, pavilions, fountains, fruit trees and flowers. It got the name Moonlight Garden because it was mostly used in the cool of the night when the moonlight shined on Taj Mahal so you could see the reflection in the pool and the river.
After sightseeing, relax in your car while your driver takes you back to Jaipur. You will arrive at your hotel in the evening with wonderful memories of Agra and the Taj Mahal.

Imran was a good guide for the Taj Mahal, but I wish the tour had stopped there. First of all, we weren’t given instructions on how to find/contact our driver in the morning. At the Taj Mahal we were kind of pressured into buying professional photos (whole photo shoot kind of thing). After that we were not taken to the buffet but instead to an art shop where we were subjected to high pressure sales pitches. The Agra Fort was fine, not all that interesting. Then we were taken to a restaurant where we had to pay for our meal rather than it being included. Finally, we didn’t even go to Itmad-ud-Daula. We were taken to another art place and we just refused to even listen to the salesman. After all that, Imran had the audacity to ask us for a bigger tip. Frankly, I’m very annoyed and hesitant to do any other guided tours in India after this.

My family and I travelled independently in India, however a it was recommended to us to have a guide to visit tge Taj Mahal and Agra Fort. As such, Muhumand joined our tour and guided us through the rather complex entry requirements for both monuments. Once inside, he was knowledgeable and very engaging in his descriptions of Mughal life and the dramatic back stories. He was relaxed and was attentive to our needs. We enjoyed his company, and he added great value to our Agra visit. I don't think we would have seen everything we wanted to see without him. An excellent outcome for our family tour.

Vinod was amazing. He is truly a pro. As an Asian Australian solo traveller coming to India for my first time, I was quite nervous coming to Taj Mahal, given how much tourists can be pestered around when they visit touristy places (which happened to me many times when I first arrived in Jaipur a couple of days back), but Vinod made my experience so smooth, hassle-less and effortless. He is knowledgeable and flexible too. He can speak Spanish and French, that’s pretty damn cool. I highly recommend him guys, he’s a great bloke.
