Pato was an awesome guide ! We were able to see and do so much and learned a great deal about Ecuador and Quito! The market we went to was really nice and we were able to taste so many different fruits! The cable car up the mountain was great and we hiked around to see all the different viewpoints. Very beautiful and we could really see how large Quito is! The swing was fun too and Pato is a great photographer! Old town and the basilica were beautiful and then we ate lunch at a very tasty restaurant overlooking the main square with a great view. The Middle of the World museum was fun too! It was definitely a fantastic day thanks to Pato for showing us his beautiful city !
Hello Donna, Thank you so much for sharing your Awesome Day in Quito with our Private and Personalized City Tour of Quito Teleférico and Middle of the World. It was my pleasure has been part of your experience in Quito as your Local Tour Guide. I hope to see you again. Safe travels, Pato
We booked 2 tours with Ecuador A Color, and our guide Pato made both days unforgettable! This was our first tour with him and I can highly recommend it as the first thing you do in Quito. Pick up and drop off at our hotel was included and greatly appreciated. As an added bonus Pato’s picture taking skills are great, so now we have more memories of our 2 days. - It was quite a diverse tour starting at the Santa Clara market where we had an education in the amazing fruits, vegetables, flowers and other goods of Ecuador. - Next our ride up the TeleferiQo cable car to the east side of Pichincha volcano is not to be missed! It was a great altitude preparation for our next day at Cotopaxi. - Back in town we toured Plaza Grande (Independence square) and enjoyed lunch at La Vid in a beautiful historical building overlooking the plaza. - Then we went to the Basilica of the National Vow where we went up into the towers for great views over the city. We can highly recommend booking tours in Quito from Ecuador a Color, and wish we had more days to spend touring with our new friend, Pato, in Quito!
