We enjoyed our time with Francesca making focaccia and orecchiette. Francesca’s passion for cooking was evident. We felt very welcomed in her home and got to meet her family. This class was a unique and authentic experience.
We joined a cooking class with Lucia in Lecce as a family, and it was an amazing experience and a wonderful memory from our holiday in Puglia. Together with my wife and two daughters, we learned step-by-step how to make traditional orecchiette and tiramisu. Everything was explained clearly and patiently, and it was so much fun to do, the result was absolutely delicious. Lucia was assisted by Frederica and her husband Paulo, who added charm and humor while giving extra insights. Lucia is not only a highly talented cook but also a gifted singer of traditional Tarantella. All in all, it was a unique and heartwarming experience. Thank you, Lucia, for your warm hospitality!
Good class...learned the kind of flour used to make pasta makes s difference! Highly recommend to people who want to learn about making and enjoying pasta.
We had our experience with Cesarina Francesca in Lecce. My husband I had an amazing experience with Francesca, her husband Francesco and her daughter Vittoria. We have been to a number of cooking classes in Italy but this was by far our best. Being welcomed so warmly and naturally into their home really made this special for us. Francesca guided us in making orecchiette, ravioli and sagne torte. All were first experiences for us and we will be adding these to our repertoire when we return home. Francesca is a gracious hostess, guiding us through our bumbling first attempts at shaping and applauding our increasing skill. Her humour was infectious. Aided by Vittoria, who is near fluent, we had no problem at all in talking about cooking, life in Puglia, Italy and the world. What a fabulous experience. I wish we lived closer and could stop in for a cafe or a shared meal. Gracie mille!
