At 8:30am, your guide will meet you at your hotel lobby in centrally located Nanjing hotels with your nameplate. Firstly, you will visit The Oriental Metropolitan Museum, which is a local museum to display the history and relics in this city. There are plenty of the items exhibiting in the renowned building that was designed Chien Chung Pei.
Afterwards you will move the Qi Xia Mountain, which is about 15km from downtown of Nanjing. It is very interesting place to explore the history and the landscape. There are temples and carvings, and maples in the mountain.
Later, you will visit the well-known old Qixia Temple that is located on the mountain. As one of the four famous Chinese Buddhism temples, it was built in 489AD. This temple is a wonderful place to learn the history and culture about the Buddhism. Afterwards you will be transferred back to your Nanjing hotel where the day tour concludes.
