We will take you through the gorgeous city of Muscat where we will first visit the grand mosque which, among a couple others, is one of the biggest 1-piece handmade Iranian carpet in the world. The carpet weighs a whopping 21 tons and can comfortably accommodate up to 20,000 worshippers. Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque is Close If it is Friday ( For Friday Prayer) Just Outside for Photo Stop Only.
We will drive you around the ministries and the Royal Opera House area which is leading arts, and culture organization in the Sultanate of Oman. The vision of the Opera House is to serve as a center of excellence in global cultural engagement (Royal Opera is Closed if it is Friday - Just Photo Stop Only)
Bait Al Zubair is a museum, located on Al Saidiya Street, Old Muscat, Oman. The museum has an extensive collection of ancient weapons, including khanjar, household equipment's, and costumes. Outside the museum is a full-scale Omani village and souk
This beach lies in Al Qurm Area in the heart of Muscat and extends over a large area. This beach is considered one of the busiest in Muscat due to its location near shopping centers and restaurants, but it will be a photo stop only.
Muttrah Souk is next, where you can find various souvenirs and Muttrah Souk one of the oldest marketplaces in Oman dating back two hundred years
The Al Alam Palace "Palace of the Flag" is a palace located in Old Muscat, Oman. It was used as a ceremonial palace by Sultan Qaboos bin Said Al Said. One of six sultanic residences of the monarch, has a history of over 200 years, and was built under the watch of Imam Sultan bin Ahmed, the 7th direct grandfather of Sultan Qaboos.
Al Jalali Fort Photo Stop only. Al Jalali Fort, or Ash Sharqiyah Fort, is a fort in the harbor of Old Muscat, Oman. The fort was built by the Portuguese under Philip I of Portugal in the 1580s to protect the harbor after Muscat had twice been sacked by Ottoman forces. It fell to Omani forces in 1650. During the civil wars between 1718 and 1747, the fort was twice captured by Persians who had been invited to assist one of the rival Imams. The fort was extensively rebuilt later.
Al Mirani Fort Photo Stop only. Fort Al-Mirani is a fort, originally built by the Portuguese, in the harbor of the city of Old Muscat, Oman.

Muscat is a beautiful city. This is our first day in Oman but from the experience so far. Looks like it's highly underrated. The city is beautiful, clean, peaceful good food . Our tour guide Hamood from Oman Landscapes has been good , very helpful and informative so far. He speaks very good english too. So so far so good. We are here for another 5 days. Will keep updating my experiences here.

The history and the culture of the city is so rich and beautifully explained by Hamood! You can go see the sights on your own, which are beautiful. But the guided tour gives you a much deeper appreciation for the city.

We had a wonderful Muscat city tour with our guide, Khalid. He made the experience extremely fun and engaging, and his knowledge about the city, its history, and all the landmarks was truly impressive. Khalid also recommended an excellent restaurant, Rosanna, for our lunch—which turned out to be a perfect choice. Overall, it was a great day and we highly recommend Khalid for anyone visiting Muscat!

A perfect and pleasant way get oriented with the alluring and unusual charming city of Muscat, Oman. Said was an amazing guide. We had Saif as our guide and he was amazing in showing us Muscat and various famous spots but most importantly taking time to explain a lot of things and answering all our questions. We were fascinated by the architecture and the stories behind the buildings and would always recommend this tour over a shorter one as it will give you sufficient time to properly explore and learn about Oman and Muscat.
