Activity on 12th June cancelled by Operator at last minute with a promise of a prompt refund (A$41.68)… this has not happened yet, and it is now 1st July! Can Viator chase up NowBosnia please… with thanks
Sascha was an excellent guide who clearly knows every inch of the city. We saw and learned a lot and very much enjoyed our time.
Incredibly busy and bustling street to the bridge, but well worth the vvisit.Dont get conned with the expensive car parks. We found a meter outside the main central area in Zone 2 for 5 hours at just 5KM (£2.15). Enjoyed walking round the side streets and old town as well as the river bank and bridge. The Culture museum is interesting though a bit small and was only 5KM each. The Genocide Museum is fairly expensive but needs a strong constitution to face the reality of what went on in the 1990's.
Sasa knows everything and everyone, the best shops that have locally made goods, the restaurants that have local foods. He knows the ancient and modern histories. Plus he took us outside Mostar to Blagaj and other Herzegovina sites. Funny, friendly and caring about our well-being and happiness.
The guide was Amazing💃🏻 the way he told the history about Bosnia is like it was taking you back and live it 🙂
Sasha was one if not the best tour guide of our trip. Very informative and educational. Worth everything and more. If you can request a guide ask for Sasha.
I had known her since the times of Yugoslavia. Apparently nothing has changed, but without even looking too carefully you discover the too many wounds left by the war. And on the souvenir stalls so many too many objects made from the shell casings of the thousands of bullets fired. Anguish is the feeling they inspired. Nice to taste Turkish coffee.... It's life that goes on
Beautiful Mostar .. with that oriental charm a little melancholic .. I recommend everyone to visit it to go to the mosque, to see every little detail in that land where a few years ago there was a war .. I would go back immediately! The famous bridge although rebuilt still retains its original charm! Every glimpse is photogenic..🤩🤩
Iconoclastic city of Bosnia known throughout the world for the notorious tragic war events of the 90s. It has a charm of its own, to me personally I was very impressed, I find it of a poignant beauty. The old town with the famous reconstructed bridge are really wonderful. Expectations for this place were high and did not disappoint. It may be true that it is besieged by tourists but its charm remains unchanged. The locals or traders are friendly people, you eat great Balkan food and the prices are definitely affordable for everyone. The thing that fascinated me most is the stupid call to prayer of a muezzin in the heart of Europe
Beautiful bridge that characterizes the city of Mostar UNESCO heritage to visit even if you are just passing through, characteristic and ancient. I have to stop. From this bridge they dive 17 meters high, so not for everyone... Very beautiful to look at and details that mark the history of the city rebuilt after being destroyed in past years
