Our private Mosque-Cathedral Tour in Cordoba was with Inma from Yannet Travel. Inma was very knowledgeable, warm and funny. It was one of our very best tours ever. She was really able to bring the history of the Mosque-Cathedral to life. We learned a lot and had a really great time! We received a personal text before the tour giving us the name of our guide and exactly where to meet. I recommend the private tour because ot is such an intimate setting and it really allows you to ask a lot of questions.

How is it possible to have an Islamic mosque and a Christian cathedral all-in-one? Well here you do. Olivia, our extremely knowledgeable guide, took us on a tour from the 700s to present day offering religious, political, historical and architectural details to bring this site to life. We loved every minute of it. There are so many details to take in - and more for me to go home a research further. Our guide, Olivia, was wonderful and I highly recommend her.

Our tour guide was Olivia, who from the start to finish, gave us a comprehensive and fascinating story of the beautiful Cordoba Mosque-Cathedral. She took us on a whirlwind journey of the mosque’s architecture and history, tracing its origins and expansion via successive rulers and then conversion of the mosque into a cathedral. Each spot was carefully chosen so we could imagine how the mosque was at a point in time, taking us in a carefully planned route so we can understand how the mosque evolve, with the finale being the revelation of a splendid cathedral that took us totally by surprise when she lead us to it. For lovers of architecture and history, this place is a must-see, and we recommend Olivia unreservedly for beautifully weaving together a wonderful experience.

Very interesting historical tour. Our guide took us through the full history of the mosque cathedral. We then had time to stay behind after the tour and take photos at leisure.
