Neene was professional and an exceptional guide for the Mural Art Tour in Mexico City. Her enthusiasm for her subject matter was contagious as she demonstrated an in depth knowledge of muralism. Her English communication skills were terrific which made it easy to grasp the art and its history as she talked about it. Neene was a pleasure to spend time with and we look forward to additional tours with her when we next return to Mexico City.
Armando did a fantastic job of explaining the thinking and artistry behind the murals in the Palace of Fine Arts and in other locations. This was one of my favorite tours because it put so much context and meaning behind the artwork. Armando brought the murals to life by telling stories about the issues of the times and the intent of the artist. Highly recommended!
Our guide Neene provided an amazing experience for us during our private mural art tour in Mexico City. She arrived promptly and introduced us to the Muralist movement, as well as a sampling of muralists working at the time. We spent time talking about each mural at the Palacio de Bellas Artes, the Museuo Mural Diego Rivera and the House of Tiles. Neene answered our questions and deftly wove history and culture together. Truly a five-star experience and we would gladly take part in another tour with Neene!
The tour was great! Nenee was knowledgeable and pleasant, good English. We learned a lot of history and murals code characters. Loved the tour !
Our guide was very sweet & knowledgeable. My rating isn’t about her at all. It’s about the tour & what you get for the amount you pay. It’s not worth it. Go on your own. & honestly, it will be quicker. Two places only have 1 mural each & are free to get into (one being a restaurant). The third place is free to enter on Sundays, which is when we happened to go (or maybe it’s always free?). All within a block of each other. Any hotel you are staying at can give you these 3 places. I thought it was going to be more…
Dear Jennifer, Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts on the tour. We're genuinely sorry to hear that it did not meet your expectations in terms of value. It's great to hear that you found our guide Neene sweet and knowledgeable; we truly believe that having an expert like her can transform any visit into a more enriching experience. We understand your concerns regarding the tour's content and pricing. Our aim is to curate tours that not only show the sights but also provide deeper insights and stories that aren't immediately obvious. That being said, we take your feedback seriously and will look into how we can enhance the tour to make it more worthwhile for our guests. We hope to have the opportunity to show you the enhanced value of our tours in the future. Warm regards, Anastasiya
This was a revelatory experience and my guide, Neeme, made it so. Not only is she a delightful companion, she offered detailed, nuanced explanations and perspective, which truly deepened my understanding of Mexican history. It was like taking an advanced seminar in art history. Brava!
This was an eye-popping, revelatory experience for me, and I am so glad I signed up! Neene, my guide, was so insightful and enthusiastic - not to mention just good company! - and I finished the tour feeling so much more appreciative of Mexico’s rich anthropological and social history as illustrated by these wonderful murals. Honestly, you will feel as though you attended a top notch college arts seminar.
Our guide Neene was very knowledgeable and did a great job of explaining the intricacies of the murals in English. Through this incredible art she explained much about Mexican history, culture and politics.
Our guide, Neneé was very good. She gave us an excellent tour in English of the murals of various Mexican artists. We were very pleased.
Our tour was beautiful. Our tour guide Neene was both charismatic and very knowledgeable about the artists, their history and the political climate that brought the artists to create their art.
