On the way, you will go along the famous “Route des Châteaux”, while your expert in wine guide will explain the region: the wines, the terroir, and history. Enjoy the scenery while your driver answers any questions you may have about the local wine scene. The scenic drive will take you through the greatest Grands Crus, with the most beautiful photo stops. You will visit and taste in three Châteaux (wineries) specially selected according to your wishes and expectations. From the oldest and family-owned Châteaux to the most modern and luxurious, you will have the choice, and we take care of the organization. Itinerary
Pick-up at your hotel or the place you wish in Bordeaux, and drive to Médoc region. Panoramic drive among the top growths and photo stops. Your guide will explain the region: wines, terroir, appelation, history, classifications...
Château 1 : depending on your choices, we could for example begin with a family run estate in the Pauillac area with a convivial visit of the property followed by a tasting of their different wines.
Lunch : we can propose different options, from a selection of gastronomic restaurants to local hidden gems, convivial lunch in a Château, or intimate gourmet restaurants.
Château 2 : we can stop at a Grand Cru Classé in Saint-Estèphe where you could enjoy a guided tour and wine tasting of old vintages for example.
Chateau 3 : for a last stop before returning to Bordeaux, you can visit a Grand Cru Classé in Margaux. You will be impressed by the cellar, the architecture, the ageing know-how. The perfect way to understand better the oustanding delicious Bordeaux Wines. And of course, you will taste several cuvées and vintages, with perhaps the experience of tasting directly at the barrel or amphora.
We will propose you a stop in front of the famous and illustrious Château Margaux. The perfect occasion to take some souvenir pictures.
Back to Bordeaux : drop-off at your hotel, or in the city center.

It was a wonderful day in the Medoc region. Our driver Xavier was very knowledgeable about the wines and chateaus. We visited three chateaus and had a fabulous lunch experience at a local restaurant. We even had time to stop at a chocolate factory for a tasting and purchased some treats.

This was a magical day exploring Medoc Chateaux. We were able to choose from a range of Chateaux to visit and a perfect itinerary was put together, including a lovely restaurant for lunch. Our guide, Xavier, was wonderful and so generous in the information he shared and in the extra stops he made along the way to show us something special. We loved the whole experience.

Fantastic day out with Jeremy from Ocala. We chose to do the Gold Option Tour, which visited only classified chateaux, and we arranged to have lunch at our first stop. All three of the wineries we visited were excellent, and there was enough variety that each one felt like a unique experience. We did several other wine tours with other companies, but Olala was far and away the best of the lot. Next time, we'll use them for everything!

Everything from the description, to the booking process, having questions answered, and customizable options made the booking process great. I asked for a knowledgeable wine tour guide (as I've been on tours where I seemed to be teaching them), and was blown away by the expertise and depth of knowledge of our guide, René. Transportation was provided in a comfortable Mercedes van. The chateaux we visited offered a great cross-section of Medoc wines of various styles and quality. Our lunch stop was a PERFECT break at a beautiful hotel (Maison L'Estournal). I cannot say enough good things about René. I recommend asking for him by name.

What a bloody good day! Vincent knew a great deal about Bordeux and was really knowledgeable about the wines and took us to some exceptional spots and some really impressive wineries. Highly recommend doing this tour and Vincent.
