My guide was amazing and very knowledgeable. I learned so much!
We were a family of 6 and the whole team took excellent care of us. We were accompanied from our hotel in Cairo; Khaled, a truly exceptional driver, took care of everything with great professionalism. He also managed the booking of our flights. Upon arrival in Luxor, our guide Abishoy was already waiting for us. We made a wonderful visit to the Valley of the Kings, including the tomb of the golden pharaoh Tutankhamun and the tomb of Kings Ramses V and VI. Afterwards we had lunch in a traditional restaurant. At the end of the tour we were escorted to the airport. Upon our return to Cairo, Khaled was waiting for us again and drove us back to our hotel. Many thanks to Narmer Tours and the whole team for this wonderful experience.
The VIP Agenda is excellent. Two weeks after paying we were told the chosen date was full it was rebooked but not without many inconveniences. Paid for VIP business class but was not available only Economy. Only received a $2.96 credit back! Better to book your own flights from Cairo to Luxor and save $1000. Return flight delayed twice not notified. Spent 8 hours in the airport waiting for info. The guides English 3/5 so missed a lot of info. Also he needs more experience on interactions - constantly walked way ahead of us or on the phone. Very nice young man and with more training may be good.
An incredible experience! Walking through the Valley of the Kings and seeing King Tut’s tomb was surreal. The guide was knowledgeable, the sites breathtaking, and the day perfectly paced. A must-do in Luxor!
We enjoyed a superb tour of Luxor. Our driver, Ahmed, picked us up from our Cairo hotel and got us to our flight to Luxor on time. Then, after a long, wonderful day in Luxor, he returned us safely to our hotel. Our guide, Beshoi, was a delight. Super nice, super knowledgeable and his English was great. Our lunch stop in Luxor for Egyptian food was authentic and delicious. Our tour driver in Luxor took good care of us all day. Couldn't have asked for more!
This was a well organized tour. Ahmed was very responsive on WhatsApp leading up to (for planning and my questions) and during our trip to Egypt (we used Narmer for Cairo and Luxor). They accommodated our requests to customize the private tour (we reduced the number of sites and requested a 5-6pm return flight for our young kids). Since there are fluctuations on flight prices, if you want to know the exact cost or have a specific budget, I recommend getting the VIP tour (excluding flight) to know the exact cost upfront. Mo Faraag our guide had a flair for storytelling and explained with a lot of detail. He is really passionate about sharing the history and knowledge. We went in August which meant it was significantly less crowded being summer time, but it was 105 - 108F degrees in the sun which was too hot for our young kids so we adjusted. Mo recommended the beautiful and easier to walk down tombs (Rameses IV, IX and III) in addition to our request for King Tut. (We didn't go through everything but out of the few places we went to in Luxor and Cairo, King Tut’s tomb was the only one where we saw a real life unwrapped mummy. The temple of Hatshepsut had a lot of stairs and walking and the super impressive Temple of Karnak required a lot of walking so I stayed in the restaurant area/visitors’ center with the kids for those and my husband went in. Mo went with my husband through the Temple of Karnak (a large complex) even in the crazy heat and they went through slowly as he explained things, Mo didn’t rush through it despite the heat. Mo said the weather is still hot but more bearable in winter starting October. We had a very comfortable, spacious van for the 2 adults, 2 young kids, guide and driver. Mo stopped by a shop and bought us water, soda and croissant snacks at the start of the trip.
This company didn’t honor the price or the agreed upon inclusions on the tour! It was a flight to Luxor and tickets to get in mto the sites!! Bought the tickets in Feb then in May they said the airline tickets went up $155/pp=$930. I reluctantly agreed to that but Then the night Before leaving they said we would have to cover all the entrance fees except 2. SCAM!gut feeling we should NOT go with them! They could demand more money and keep us hostage! Now Viator says they can’t refund our money due to it being nonrefundable even though they changed the inclusions. And the amount of money it should cost.!!! Viator said they had a similar complaint 1 month prior! I have used Viator for many excursions but have never had this kind of problem!!! Do I trust Viator any more????
Dear Valued Customer, We’re sorry to hear that your experience did not meet your expectations, and we would like to clarify a few important points: • Requesting a cancellation just three hours before the scheduled trip is not acceptable, as all arrangements were already finalized at that point. Had the cancellation request been made at least 15 days to a month in advance, we would have done our best to assist, even if it was outside standard policy. • You changed your accommodation three times and did not disclose the actual hotel location. Our guide and driver were waiting at the location provided, but you were not there. This created unnecessary confusion and disruption to the service. Such actions are not considered professional and could imply an intent to cancel at the last minute while still attempting to claim a refund. • Furthermore, the messages we received threatening to leave a one-star review and to contact your bank to dispute the payment unless a refund was issued are concerning. We are always open to constructive feedback, but such behavior does not reflect a fair or cooperative approach. Regarding your booking and what it included: Your reservation was made based on the package you selected, and a full breakdown of what was and wasn’t included was clearly shared with you over three months ago. The difference between our VIP packages which include everything from business-class flights to meals and basic trip bookings was fully explained. You confirmed your selection after reviewing all the details and were also informed that if anything did not match your expectations, you could cancel in advance for a full refund. We respect all our clients, and their feedback is highly valued. However, your review is the only negative one among dozens of others that reflect our transparency and professionalism. We are always committed to improving our service, but we also stand by clear agreements made with our clients to ensure fairness for all parties. Best regards,
