Description

Once in the Park, you may enjoy last set of falls, before the river meets the sea. The Skradinski Buk Fall is a spectacular multi level cascade over travertine cliffs. This waterfall is known as a most beautiful waterfall in Europe. It is 46 meters high, which makes it the highest travertine (gypsum) barrier in Europe. Above the falls is a large plateau that offers spectacular views and a perfect photo opportunity. The Krka river spills here over the 17 cascades which you can view on a leisurely and safe walk along the walking trails and wooden bridges. You'll also have a chance to visit the small ethnological exhibition and the old mill. The whole area is rich with flora and fauna. Due to strict new preservation laws, this extraordinary area has been kept in its original state. Swimming is not permitted at Skradinski buk! At your request, it is possible to extend the service and drive to the panorama spot of the Franciscan islet of Visovac.

Krka NP from Zadar - PRIVATE TOUR

We were picked up at the port and driven to Krka National Park where we had a great walking tour through the National Park to see the waterfalls. Then we went to Zadar to see the Sea Organ, Sun Salutation, and learn some of the history of Zadar.

Operator response

Thank you and regards, Irena
