Cruise slowly through the hidden backwaters of Alappuzha (also known as "Alleppey"), considered the hub of the state's backwaters and home to a vast network of waterways and boats. Venture through village areas and the landscape of the Laccadive Sea to marvel at the lush vegetation, paddy fields, coconut palms, and much more. There will be 3 staff members along with your guide to look after you and make sure your experience is as relaxed as possible. Enjoy a lunch of Keralan cuisine as you gently navigate the waterways, which includes rice, vegetable dishes, fish, chicken, and more. End your houseboat cruise and later transfer to your hotel

Superb day. Thuran, our driver for the day, picked us up promptly at 7:40am and took us to the backwaters. The drive was 2hrs due to rush hour traffic and the new highway project causing congestion but the time flew as Thuran was good conversation. Once onboard our crew of 3 looked after us extremely well. Lemon & ginger drink to start and then fresh mango and cookies. Lunch was lovely. Fish fry, chicken fry, cabbage and coconut, keralan rice and sambar. All tasted fantastic. After 3 hours of cruising the backwaters watching the kingfishers and kite flying around us we returned back to Cochin in air conditioned car. Thoroughly recommend these guys. They are consummate professionals.
The tour guide we had was called Tommy and he was great. Tommy’s general knowledge was excellent on all aspects of Kerala’s history. It was a pleasure to have him as our guide & would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone that needs an experienced tour guide.
We enjoyed our time with Peter and the team at the backwaters. Our ship arrived after lunch into Kochi so we were treated to delicious fruit, snacks and drinks instead of lunch. The boat was very comfortable and great facilities. The boat’s crew was attentive and friendly, proving to be excellent cooks. Thank you so much for a wonderful day!
Excellent arrangements were made by Mr Peter and his team for the day tour of Alleppey back waters in private Premium Boat for 6 pax. We were picked up in an AC traveller van from our hotel to travel to Alleppey from Fort Kochi. House boat was great (neat, clean and well furnished with A/C) as promised. It had two nice viewing platforms at roof to enjoy panoramic views of lake and the backwaters. Lunch was sumptuous with delicious Vegetarian and Non-Veg Kerala food selections. Vegetarians were well taken care of. All boat staff, especially Mr Johney, were courteous and displayed high service quality. We had an enjoyable and memorable trip. Mr Peter was very flexible and accommodating in adjusting to some of the last minutes changes that we had to make to our travel arrangements. Overall I will highly recommend Carnival Tours Kochi as a tour and travel partner in Kochi and around. My best wishes to Mr Peter and his team!
