The driver will pick you up (at 5 am or as per your time of comfort) from your hotel in Delhi and take you on a 4-hour drive to Jaipur. Upon arrival, meet your private tour guide at Hawa Mahal
An exciting day awaits for you today, with a photo visit at the Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds) - a five-storey wonder with a spectacular pyramidal facade and overhanging windows with latticed screens, domes and spires
Continue your tour as you drive to the ancient capital of Amer to see the fabulous Amber Fort, situated on a ridge just outside Jaipur city. The fort is surrounded by fortified battlements and overlooks the Moata Lake. Ruins and remains of the fort are spread over the Aravalli hills and sprawling crenellated walls lattice the surrounding area. Explore the chambers and hallways of the palace, famous for the excellent design and decoration. Within the complex is Ganesh Pol, an imposing gateway painted with the images of the God - Ganesh. The merging of Rajput and Mughal architectural styles is captured in the Sukh Niwas, Jas Mandir Apartments, and the Charbagh garden with its perfectly proportioned landscaping. Pierced screen windows offer views from different vantage points and shimmering mirrors encrust the walls of Sheesh Mahal.

his afternoon, enjoy a tour of the Pink City, an “abode of rajahs”. The highlights of the tour include a visit to the City Palace Museum, which has a superb collection of Rajasthani costumes, and armoury of Mughals and Rajputs including swords of different shapes and sizes with chiselled handles. Many antiques and artefacts belonging to the ruling family are housed here, including a collection of weaponry. It also has an art gallery with an excellent collection of miniature paintings, carpets, royal paraphernalia and rare astronomical works in Arabic, Persian, Latin and Sanskrit.
Proceed to the awe-inspiring Jantar Mantar Observatory, A stone Astrological & Astronomical Observatory built by Maharaja Jai Singh in the 18th century. Later on, drive back to Delhi via national highway. Your tour ends here.

Great tour with a knowledgeable guide and expert driver. Hotel pick up and drop off were right on time, and we were able to see all of the prime locations and photo positions.
I decided to take the same day tour to Jaipur as time wasn’t really on my side. I booked the tour the evening before and there were no problems - within minutes the tour was confirmed and I received my driver’s information soon after. Prem was a fantastic chauffeur. He arrived at my hotel early meaning we set off before 6. The drive there was comfortable and we stopped off for a coffee on the way (very needed after the early start). Prem spoke really good English, which helped to pass the time during the journey. Before we had even met the tour guide, Prem pointed out some notable landmarks. Upon arriving in Jaipur, the tour guide joined us. He was friendly and informative. We stopped off at many sites but the main highlight for me was the Observatory, made even better by my guides obvious passion and interest for what he was showing me. The lunch break was a nice addition - and it was a real bonus that the guide sat and had lunch with me where we talked about our own travel experiences. Doing a private tour solo can sometimes feel a bit uncomfortable and awkward, however this was not the case throughout this trip. I can honestly say I felt at ease, safe, and intrigued throughout the whole day. I would highly recommend this trip to anyone who is a bit short in time but still wishes to see a bit of Jaipur. I have no doubt that I’ll return for a longer stint in the pink city!

Had a wonderful tour of Jaipur aka the pink city. We were able to communicate with our guide to arrange for a little later pickup at 7a, which helped since we were still jet lagged. Our guide (Vik) was knowledgeable, kind, and funny. He took photos for us and explained each place we travelled in detail. He left the tour open to what we wanted to see based on our tastes, but we trusted his expertise and glad we did! Our driver was excellent and safe. We had lunch included at a local restaurant and it’s still my favorite meal of the trip.
