Private Highlights & Art Walking Tour: Markthal, Zadkine, Street Art and Depot

Description
Start your Tour on the rooftop of Het Witte Huis (weekend) with a stunning view over Markthal, the Cube Houses, the Erasmus bridge, the Willems bridge and De Rotterdam. After this start you’ll walk right through Markthal designed by MVRDV. At the recently refurbished Grotekerkplein new city park including a public stage for music and dance. After passing Dudok’s ‘Dudok’ you’ll arrive at the Timmerhuis, a inner-city redevelopment project in which renowned Rotterdam-based architectural firm OMA merged a municipal office block from the 1950s with a pixellated steel-and-glass structure. Here you will visit a rooftop terrace (weekdays) with a view over Markthal, Coolsingel boulevard, City Hall and the city centre. In the Museumpark you will see Sonneveld House and Het Nieuwe Instituut, right before you arrive at the latest eye catcher Depot Boijmans van Beuningen, also by MVRDV, home to the world’s first public art depot.

This was a really really good tour. Willem is a great guide - very knowledgeable with lots of good stories and a fantastic sense of humour. A unique chance to see some stunning buildings and give access to places other tours do not go. I would gladly do it again!
That's so nice to hear, thank you.
