Private Half-Day Khor Virap Monastery & Mount Ararat view Tour from Yerevan

Khach was an excellent and knowledgeable guide. He gave us a brief history lesson on our way to the monastery and was very kind to answer all our questions and take our family pictures. Our driver, Karen, was nice enough to stop at a local fruit stand on our request so we could get some local fresh fruit. I would highly recommend.

Because we were so enthusiastic about our first tour, we immediately booked a second tour. This time it was to go from Yerevan to the Khor Virap Monastery, from where we hoped to have a great view of the biblical Mount Ararat with good weather. Although we had already discussed the tour with our guide, the team at the travel agency had some difficulty being flexible and acting outside the predefined online catalog. In the end, everything was arranged, and Hovid, a gem of a driver, picked us up in his luxurious and fully air-conditioned electric vehicle. Rose was also there, with the same good mood and positive attitude that we had come to know and appreciate the day before. We had an impressive and educational trip to the Khor Virap Monastery, which we wanted to explore thoroughly with Rose's expert support. Afterwards, we had the desire for a coffee away from the tourist dining options at the monastery. Rose and Hovid quickly became creative and exceeded expectations. They commandeered a charmingly located café that was actually closed and prepared a wonderful Armenian mocha in the shade of the mulberry trees. There was red wine to go with it. Rose and Hovid have proven: everything is possible! What a successful conclusion and highlight of the day! Because we were in Yerevan for business, we only booked a half day and had to work later. Hovid did not hesitate and drove us directly to the conference center near the train station. We thank both of them and will return - that is for sure!

What could have been a simple sightseeing tour became a fascinating and deeply meaningful experience. We would highly recommend Rose and Arthur to anyone visiting Armenia. They were undoubtedly one of the highlights of our trip, and we are grateful for the wonderful memories they helped create. Thank you both for an incredible experience.
