Private Guided Tour of Salt Lake City

Description
Experience the Soul of the Crossroads: The BeUTAHful SLC Tour Why settle for a bus window view when you can feel the pulse of the city? Salt Lake City is more than just a gateway to the mountains—it’s a vibrant tapestry of pioneer history, and world-class architecture. At BeUTAHful Tours, we don’t just show you the sights; we tell you the stories that the plaques leave out. What Makes Our Tour Different? Most tours give you dates and names. We give you the "why." From the spiritual gravity of Temple Square, to the beautiful architecture of the state capitol, we provide a balanced, insider’s look at what makes Salt Lake tick. The Icons: Stand in the shadow of the Salt Lake Temple and marvel at the acoustics of the Tabernacle. The Views: Scale the heights of the Utah State Capitol for a panoramic vista that proves why we call this place "BeUTAHful." The Heritage: Step back in time at Heritage Park and walk the same paths as the early settlers.

The interior of the building is stunning! With incredible granite throughout, and amazing sculptures and woodwork. There is also a souvenir shop across the street, where tourists can buy Utah themed items.
Twice a year, members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints gather for what is called General Conference. The leaders of the church and many local members as well as other members from around the world come together in the Conference center. Some interesting facts about this building: - This building is the largest theater-style auditorium ever built. - The main auditorium is large enough to hold a Boeing 747. - There are 60 interpreting booths that translate the conferences into 92 different languages. Second only to the United Nations. - There are 7,667 pipes in the organ ranging from 3/4 inch tall to 40 feet tall, but only 170 can be seen by the audience. - The chandelier in the hall is three stories tall. - The building contains a rooftop garden.
We will end at City Creek Mall. This mall has a natural creek running through it. Two outdoor levels of shops. A food court, and fountain. A skybridge going over State Street, and lots more.
Only available on request, as Temple Square is currently under renovation.
It commemorates the arrival of Mormon pioneers to the Salt Lake Valley in 1847, when Brigham Young declared, "This is the right place."
