To begin your tour your See Sight Tour guide will take you toward the picturesque fishing village of Peggy’s Cove, located about an hour from Halifax. Along the way, your guide will share fun facts and tips about the area.
Next, you’ll have the opportunity to take a picture with the most photographed lighthouse in Canada - the iconic Peggy’s Cove Lighthouse (also known as Peggy’s Point Lighthouse). You’ll also have free time to explore the area. The tiny fishing village of Peggy’s Cove offers some small shops you can check out or you can grab a seat on one of the benches and enjoy the stunning ocean views.
End your exclusive, private tour with a visit to Peggy’s Cove, your guide will bring you back to Halifax to visit historic Citadel Hill. While here you will learn about the military history of the hill and see the Highlander re-enactment interpreters dressed in traditional uniforms from the 1800s.
Following your visit to Citadel Hill, your guide will take you on a narrated driving tour of downtown Halifax where you will pass by some of the city’s most notable points of interest including the Titanic cemetery (Fairview Lawn Cemetery), City Gardens, Pier 21, Halifax Farmers Market and Point Pleasant Park.

Our guide Brittany reached out day before to confirm, was on time at our pickup location. She was conscientious to assure we could see the Citadel, Titanic cemetery, and Peggy's Cove. She provided interesting information on each location, not all that would be in brochures, etc that showed she had researched area history.
Andrew was the tour guide. He was early to pick up. Very friendly. Well spoken. Knowledgeable. Gave clear instructions. Made the experience a very pleasant one. I would recommend to anyone who was looking due a good excursion.
We didn't get to go! So one lost our $600 four hour private tour of Halifax and Peggy's Cove reservation. Don't EVER use Tripadvisor.
This tour with Will was a must do! We had the best and learned so many things about Halifax. Will was knowledgeable and enthusiastic about his town and full of stories! Knew the best places to find lobster rolls too. Well worth the fee. Thanks Will!
We showed up early for our tour, and waiting an hour. No one showed up. We made several calls and found out they did not have anyone to drive us for our private tour but, failed to contact us. We were extremely disappointed. I can’t even give them 1 star. Very poor communication!
Jack did a wonderful job. He was very informative and engaging. He was very helpful getting my mom and her wheelchair in and out of the van. It was a great way for us to see the best of Halifax.
Peggy’s Cove was our favorite! So beautiful! Our guide Allan was so nice really went out of his way to make sure that we got in everything to see, especially since our ship got in later than expected.
Good experience- we found to be a bit on the pricey side. Had to pay in Amercian $ and we are Canadian and booked in Canada. Same tour was offered by another tour group for 30% less

Oh my goodness....our guide with See Sight Tours was so accommodating, to be sure this tour was exactly what we wanted! With approval from the entire group, he changed the itinerary and order of our tour so that we got the most out of Peggy's Cove AND the Titanic Cemetery. Being a local, he even timed our trip so that we'd have the best view of the lighthouse for pictures, and just as he said, the fog rolled in as we were leaving. I felt like my little brother was taking us on a tour of his favorite spots. I look forward to the next tour with this group!!
