Over 2 days explore the world heritage sites in Bodh Gaya, ancient Nalanda university and Rajgir. This guides tour is a cultural immersion as we explore Bodh Gaya, which is one of the holiest of Buddhist sites and is famous for the Bodhi tree under which Lord Buddha attained enlightenment. World heritage site of Mahabodhi temple is another highlight. A visit to arguably the world's oldest university at Nalanda is also included. The experiences ends with a visit to Rajgir which has fantastic monuments related to both Buddhism and Jainism. This tour is organized by Five Senses Tours, a private limited company recognized by the Ministry of Tourism and a member of the Indian Association of Tour Operators (IATO). The tour of Bodhgaya was very fulfilling. Our guide was amazing and showed us all.key sites where the Buddha was there including the gamed Bodhi tree. We also enjoyed the visit to Rajgir for it's history and the ancient University of Nalanda.
Bodhgaya was a very good tour over 2 days. Our guide was very knowledgeable and we learnt so much about Buddhism in this tour. The mknasteries were very beautiful and serene. The legendary Bodhi tree was the highlight of thos trip. We also loved visiting the ancient Nalanda university.
We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 day tour of Bodhaya, Rajgir and Nalanda. Our guide Basant was very knowledgeable about Buddhist history and we learned so much from him. We appreciate that he customized the tour to our interests and allowed us to spend extra time in the places important to us! Our driver Pusapa was also excellent and ensured our safety and comfort. We are very grateful for the kindness and care they gave us!
The 2 days tour of this area was fantastic. We saw the famed bodhi tree where Lord Buddha attained enlightenment. We also enjoyed the tour of Nalanda as our guide explained about this ancient university. The car and driver were perfect. Very highly recommended.
