Private Guided Night Tour of Cairo

Exploring Cairo at night was an unforgettable experience. The Feluken cruise at sunset on the Nile offered us a breathtaking view of the city. And the view from Cairo Tower? Just incredible! The lively bazaar was bursting with energy, and we ended the evening with a delicious Koshari that was just the thing.

This was a wonderful moment. Zenab was an amazing guide and our driver was also luxurious. We were able to climb to the top of the Cairo Tower, sail on a sailboat on the Nile, stroll through the markets and taste some street food. Although you could probably do most of these things on your own, it’s much easier with a guide if you don’t speak the language and don’t have an easy means of transportation. This is a good time to stop and buy some souvenirs at the market too.

I had a smashing time sailing on the River Nile. We popped over to the local market to grab some souvenirs. For dinner, we tucked into the most traditional Egyptian nosh. Our tour guide, Zenab, was an absolute gem—ever so caring and clued up. She made sure we were all looked after, especially at the local market, so we didn’t get ribbed off. She was, without a doubt, the top banana tour guide we had during our stint in Cairo.

This is a great tour to book to get a taste of the Cairo night life. The pickup was on time in a nice, air conditioned van. Our guide was Zeinab and our driver Peter. We had great conversation with facts about Egypt as well as all our random questions being answered. The tour included dinner. There are stops at perfume, jewelry, textile, papyrus, and spice shops, so be wary and use the word No, otherwise your can fall right in to an unnecessarily costly lesson. Overall this is a decent tour for the price. This night trip was 6 1/2 hours.

One of the best parts of my trip was seeing Cairo by night. The guide was energetic, helpful, and full of useful information about the sites we visited as well as those that we just passed by. We had a local dinner at one of Egypts most famous restaurants and ended the night with a panoramic view on top of Cairo tower. Highly recommend this activity

Returning from a 10-day trip to Egypt, we chose to take a guide for each key destination, so as not to miss anything. We had a fantastic evening exploring Cairo with our guide Nour. We loved the views from atop Cairo tower and enjoyed exploring the night market. Nour went out of his way to facilitate both visits, and ensured we were prepared to negotiate prices on our purchases. The highlight was definitely dinner — a traditional koshary.
