Arches National Park is home to the highest concentration of natural arches anywhere in the world. Contained within it’s 76,518 acres are well over 2,000 documented arches! While impossible to see all of them in one visit, our guides will take you on a tour of the most impressive and awe-inspiring geologic formations in the park. Learn about how these ancient sand dunes first turned to stone and are continually eroding into arches, fins, domes and canyons.

We had an amazing private guided hiking experience in Arches, and Eliza made it truly special. She was incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and so encouraging—especially with my 14-year-old daughter, which made a huge difference in helping her feel confident and engaged throughout the hike. Eliza guided us to some of the most stunning spots in the park, including Delicate Arch, and made sure we didn’t miss any of the highlights. She also helped us capture incredible photos that we’ll treasure forever. What really stood out was how easy and fun she made the entire day feel. There was no stress—just a perfectly paced, memorable experience with an expert who clearly loves what she does. Highly recommend Eliza and Desert Highlights for anyone looking to explore Arches in a meaningful, personalized way!
Spent a wonderful day hiking through Arches National Park with Eliza yesterday. She was a fantastic guide. It was so great to have someone local to help us experience this beautiful space. She did a great job prioritizing what we should see, and created an itinerary for us that minimized crowds and maximized what we were able to see. There were plenty of snacks and waters to fuel us through the day. As we reflected on the trip, we both agreed that there was no way we would have seen everything and experienced everything we did without Eliza’s guidance. Would absolutely recommend this company.

We had an amazing day! We went into Arches and did several hikes to several of the main arches. Our guide was super friendly and knowledgeable, she brought snacks and cold water to share with us. We had a great day celebrating our anniversary

We took three tours with Desert Highlights. Both Kai and Matt were friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. They worked with us to develop a plan for each tour. Their confidence rubbed off on us as we ventured outside of our comfort zones. We HIGHLY recommend them for tours in the Moab area.

Our group of four friends enjoyed an exceptional five hour guided hike with Jake in Arches NP. We discussed what we might like to see and how much hiking we would like and Jake took those thoughts into account while suggesting some less-visited areas. We loved learning about the geology and history and his personal insights as an avid enthusiast of the area. Jake also had excellent suggestions for areas for us to explore on our own. I just wish we’d had another day to go canyoneering with him! I highly recommend!

One of the best experiences my family and I have ever experienced. Kai was our guide for two full day hikes into Arches and Canyonlands. She was amazing! I would highly recommend Desert Highlights to anyone visiting Moab. We can't wait to return. My only complaint is that we could stay longer.
