Private Guanajuato City Tour From San Miguel

This was an incredible experience. Our guide, Leo, was phenomenal. He was knowledgeable and gave us a great history lesson. I couldn't recommend it enough. Book it!

We booked this last minute directly with the tour company for 7 people and the cost decreases per person with the larger the number of people in your group.. This makes the price unbeatable with large groups for what you get (transportation, snacks, water, lunch, museum fees). They were AMAZING with arranging a driver and English speaking tour guide Susanna last minute right before new years. We had a private large van that picked us up on time. They let us modify the itinerary to do some shopping for boots (which the teens really wanted to get) and to park close to sights to limit the walking for the elder in our group. We also spent more time at the mummy museum and added in the Kissing Alley for the couple who had visited 24 years ago on their honeymoon. This tour company and tour guides are so flexible and AMAZING it is worth every penny. Whatever you want to do for the day, they will do their best to make it happen!

We booked this tour after some research. The tour operator provided a driver and a guide, two separate people, not like other companies offering the same name, but driver is the guide which is less satisfying to my opinion. The guide, Martin, was knowledgeable and friendly. The lunch was in a decent authentic Mexican restaurant. We had good time with newly gained knowledge of the city. To save the cost, I recommend going to operators website and book directly with the operator.

Daniel led a great and educational tour. We learned a lot and had a lot of fun. Very comfortable minivan and pleasant driver. Highly recommend and reasonable price compared to other option from our hotel.

We had a fantastic day with Diego discovering the beautiful city of Guanajuato! Pickup was on time and smooth and the bus was very comfortable. Diego is an amazing guide and was so full of knowledge. It was a culturally enriching tour topped off with a delicious lunch. Water and lunch were included in the price which made it much easier -- no need to start splitting bills at the restaurant. We were happy to support a local, family-run business and would definitely take more tours with Catrina Tours!

Angie was our tour guide and she did an amazing job with our tour in Guanajuato! She was very knowledgeable and friendly! Also very patient with our group of 6 while taking pictures. She did a very good job of completing our tour in English while explaining the history! 10/10 definitely recommend!

Second time my wife and I used Catrina tours while in SMA, and they exceeded our expectations again. Communication and payment with Diego has been excellent. Our guide and driver showed up early, but did not rush us. Car was a very nice, clean, leather interior mini van (honestly, one of the nicer cars we've seen in SMA). Driver was cautious, thoughtful and timely. Our guide, Angie, was super gracious and welcoming. We had an option to take the same tour with a group, and we're very glad we did a private one with Catrina for a few of the following reasons: we saw views and tunnels we could not have seen in a larger bus, Diego Rivera museum was explained intimately so that we could hear easily and ask questions, local lunch spot was not one we knew, but was a highlight when we saw a quinceanera and wedding outside a church. Most importantly, having a private guide allowed us to maximize our time and wonder the streets without getting lost and adding multiple hours to a day that is already long. The private tour was reasonably priced and worth every peso!

Wonderful tour of the city with an excellent guide and driver. We were able to see everything we wanted to see and learned a lot about the history of the area.

We had the pleasure of having our own private guide. He was extremely knowledgeable, polite and flexible. Same goes for the driver taking us safe back and forth from our hotel in San Miguel de Allende.

Diego was a wonderful guide, he is full of knowledge, humor, and patience. We learned so much on our tour of Guanajuato. We will remember it always!
