Description

Experience Bangkok's most iconic landmarks privately, at your own pace, with a dedicated English-speaking guide who brings Thai history to life. Begin at Wat Phra Kaew, home to the sacred Emerald Buddha — Thailand's most revered holy image. The 75cm jade statue sits on an 11-meter golden throne, draped in a season-changing robe touched only by the King of Thailand, surrounded by lavish murals and gilded pavilions. Next, explore the Grand Palace — golden spires, royal throne halls, and ornate architecture that has been the heart of Thai royal history for over 200 years. Your final stop is Wat Pho, Bangkok's oldest temple and home to the 46-meter golden Reclining Buddha. Marvel at the intricate mother-of-pearl inlaid feet and stroll through tranquil courtyards filled with over 1,000 Buddha images.

Another palace, but...

To be honest, it is just another royal palace. Everything is “grand” about it lime everywhere else, though temples where great. Not sure why can’t you enjoy statue of Buddha standing (security insisted on sitting down), you even have to sit like him on the statue. But in general it was a pleasant journey, especially if after all day walking you having Thai massage, which you can find in the area.
