The experience is incredible; they show you beautiful landscapes, give you time to take your photographs at the Arch of Cabo, and the attention is superb. I loved it; they also give you time to be at the beach of your choice.
My travel companion and I were visiting Cabo San Lucas for the first time and wanted to experience El Arco and Lover's Beach via a private glass-bottom boat tour. We booked through Viator specifically to avoid the hassle of negotiating at the marina and to ensure a quality, vetted experience. We have used Viator for years across multiple countries and have always had positive experiences with their operators — until now. We booked a private tour with Gregory Tours departing at 9:00 AM on June 12. We arrived at 9:03 AM to check in and were told to wait. At 9:10 AM someone appeared and informed us our private reserved boat had been given away because we were "late." Three minutes late. On a private tour. I am a reasonable person — if we had been 15 minutes late I would understand. But arriving at 9:03 for a private reservation and losing the boat at 9:10 is simply not acceptable. Viator issued a full refund, which we appreciated, but no refund replaces the experience we came for. I would strongly advise avoiding Gregory Tours. More importantly, I hope Viator reviews this operator — one bad operator can undermine the trust travelers place in their entire vetting process.

I'm not one to take the time to give poor reviews, but this was a frustrating experience. The tour was very poorly managed. We did not get what we paid for - we booked the private, glass bottom tour and the only reason we were private is because we spoke up as we were being shuttled toward a boat with a large group of people. When we arrived there was no clear organization - we waited with some apparent tour operators and other guests. When the "tour manager" showed up, he was not at all friendly & quite frankly seemed annoyed to be there. I imagine it gets frustrating dealing with tourists, but we are always respectful and have manners, yet were treated with annoyance. When I spoke up that I paid for a private glass bottom boat, we were met with suspicion. He called around and got a private boat, albeit not a glass bottom like I paid for. The only reason any stars are being given are for the boat driver.
