We had a great time with BisHoo, our guide. We went to the Pyramids, Sphinx, Civilisation Museum and ate koshary in a local fast food place. It was delicious and nice to try real Egyptian fast food. The tour company touched base with us as soon as they had our booking to confirm arrangements. Plain sailing throughout. Bishoo was very very knowledgeable about Egyptian history, both ancient and more modern politics. Really interesting day we learnt lots. We also visited a Cotton shop, spice shop papyrus museum and an aromatherapy shop. These were in addition to the tour but did not cost extra unless you bought something, which there is some pressure too as they are quite long, in depth demonstrations. You do not have to do these extras though. We paid extra to be picked up from our hotel in 6th October city, just to make our day easier, so make sure your hotel is in the pick up zone or prepare for the extra charge. Overall a great day with a very articulate, knowledgeable guide. Would recommend.
