Private Getty Center 1-Hour Tour for Kids Ages 6-12

Description
We provide an introduction to the art world that emphasizes how to look at and what to look for when viewing any work of art. By utilizing visual and tactile aids, we involve the child in the techniques, process and artists’ motivations. At the same time, we ensure the adult chaperones (over 18) are entertained as well. After the tour, you'll be amazed by the shared discoveries you have experienced together. In addition, each child is presented with an “Art Appreciation Badge”. We do not recommend this tour for children under 6 unless they are in a stroller. Want a time that's not posted? Just ask! Have a group larger than 6? We can accommodate up to 35 people. Prices upon request.

Ellen was informative and fun. She explained so much about the artists, their style and evolutions, and the history of The Getty. We enjoyed a wonderful time!
Thank you so much! Your girls were insightful and fun! You all were a delight to tour!
Sacha gave us an excellent tour at the Getty. It was designed to interest my 8 year old granddaughter and she loved it. At the end of the tour she was very interested in Impressionist art Thank you Sacha for a super day
It was a real pleasure to tour your group and Eloise was great. I look forward to touring you again when the Getty Villa reopens!
I have a pretty simple rating system: Did you enjoy it? And would you do it again? In this case, the answer is yes. Ellen was great. Her knowledge—of the museum’s history and the artwork—made the experience much richer than it would have otherwise been for me and my fifth grade son.
Thank you, Mark! You and Lars were so great to tour! Insightful questions, wonderful sense of humor and all-around fun to be with. The time flew by! I look forward to another visit and meeting the rest of your family on another tour. Happy Holidays!
My young nephews are not really museum fans however on this particular tour, they couldn't hold back their excitement. They loved the fun quizzes and enjoyed every bit of the tour.
Thanks so much for your wonderful review. I had as much fun as they did!
I highly recommend Quick Cultures LA for a tour of the Getty with kids. Ellen, our docent, was very skilled at interacting with three different ages categories. She made learning fun and brought glossy photos to highlight a specific style of each artists’ paintings. In addition, she would play games and ask them fun questions to understand all the different types of art. She made it informative, fun , and they loved her surprise at the end of the tour~
Thank you! It was a pleasure and fun to tour 3 generations --- grandmom, mother and the three children. Come back again soon!
