Latvia is a wonderful country with picture perfect spots. Must views belong in postcards. They are taking good care of their heritage
Really enjoyed nice day in Latvia! Very comfortable trip with lots of info and conversation about latvia past and present. Castles were interesting. Stopped for local dishes for lunch! All in all excellent day!
We enjoyed a very interesting day trip with Normand in December 2025. We wanted to see a bit of the country beyond Riga in the short time we had and this was perfect. Normand kindly answered all our many questions about the country and current society. He was flexible and let us prioritize the sites we were most interested in. He made our day very pleasant.
Perfect service with a knowledgeable and respectful guide, really interesting details that we wouldn't have gotten to know without a private guide driving us out! 100% recommend Normunds, perfect gentleman with flawless English - took us to a lovely restaurant for local food which was divine! Also very respectful of our time as we had an opera afterwards, he got us back in perfect timing! Thanks so much!
A perfect day touring in beautiful sceneries and interesting places. We booked a trip to see three castles and ended up (according to our wishes) to have a modified tour that included two of the original spots but also an interesting wooden castle on a lake and a lovely stop on a beach side. Also had a tasty lunch in a restaurant that would probably gone unnoticed if we hadn’t had the guide we had. Ten plus points for the whole day! Interesting discussions, lots of information, a very pleasant gentleman as our guide. Very much recommend, if you’re looking for an easy but interesting day out of the Riga town to see the surroundings!
We had an extensive tour with lots of information from our guide, Ernest. We were well-transported through Zana. A great opportunity to combine nature and culture. Worth every euro.
We had a really great day with Ernests. Doing this as a private tour was a great decision and not expensive. He was very informative and we were able to engage in very interesting discussions about Latvia, especially the last 80 years. Ernests has a varied and fascinating background and incorporated all of this in his presentation. It was a very comfortable car, we could adjust time spent and Zara as driver was a huge plus. We were so happy with the tour we were able to customize a second day that allowed us to see Rundale palace before catching our flight. Martins was an excellent guide and provided great discussions.
Beautiful day spent in the company of Cree, caring, cultivated and pleasant person. We learned about the country. Thanks again to him. He adapted to our desires throughout the day. Discover the medieval history of Latvia, castles with interactive exhibitions , and walk along the surroundings . Everything is perfectly organized and maintained. Small stop in Sigulda National Park, visit the Gutman Caves. Part of Latvia’s history is carved on the walls. Excursion for those who want to discover the hinterland, with its villages , forests ,...
Very nice trip and fantastic driver/guide. He immediately understood what we were most interested in and what our physique was capable of doing. He made us make some great discoveries!
This was such a great time, Normunds is an excellent, hilarious and charismatic guide that took us to Cesis and Sigulda castles. His deep knowledge of Latvian history provided us with an enriching and educational experience. As we chatted in the car, I mentioned I was an artist and he took us to this very special Latvian art gallery in Cesis as a surprise. Normunds personalises his tours to the interests of his customers. We finished off with a visit to his port town Saulkrasti, which was very special to visit. I highly recommend Normunds tours to anyone who wants to visit these sites when visiting Riga.
