Excellent private tour, Juan (the driver) was super friendly and attentive. The visit to Guachimontes was nice for learning the history, BUT they did not allow us to see the archaeological part, and I think no one knew why people kept arriving (it was not Juan's fault). In the town, there are many things to see, buy, learn about, eat, and of course drink, dance, and enjoy. The cantaritos are 10/10. We made several stops by the roadside to buy things and take photos. One stop was at Cantaritos El Güero, but it was too crowded, over 1 hour to buy food or drinks (not worth it), I suppose it was the effect of the '2026 World Cup.' Summary: excellent transportation, great places. I would return to Tequila without a doubt.
Great day out. Ricardo was informative
What a great way to spend our last full day of our trip to Mexico. Thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Guachimontones to experience more of the diverse history of Mexico before visiting a couple of distilleries followed by lunch and a wander around Tequila. Many thanks to Chris our fantastic guide who shared his extensive knowledge of Mexican history and culture. His friendly, casual nature and his flexibility for the tour schedule really made the day an enjoyable experience. Highly recommend this tour!
Myself and my partner were cancelled on last minute by another tour group and were lucky enough to find this one last minute. Hands down best guided tour I've been on. Jésus was great fun, very easy to get along with and able to give us so much information everywhere we went. I would recommend this to anyone!
Best experience ever. Jesus our driver was the perfect host, his knowledge and explanations made us feel like locals . Plenty of time to wander and discover .Highly recommended . A+++++
Our guide (Jesus) was on time, very pleasant and knowledgeable. We had a great time. I do recommend the tour and especially with Jesus. 👍🏽👍🏽
Our driver Rueben was very knowledgeable and helpful. It was our first time in this region and he had plenty of wonderful suggestion. We would book with on again.
My husband and I had a great time on this private tour. Our tour guide, Mauricio, was very knowledgeable and his English was very good. He saved me from having to translate all day. We loved learning about the archeological discoveries that are on-going in different parts of Mexico. We weren't particularly interested in drinking tequila and yet our tour of the Tres Mujeres tequila factory was informative and fun. We visited the town of Tequila, saw the influence of Jose Cuevo everywhere, picked up some souvenirs and had lunch at a delicious taco stand, per our request. The private tour allowed us to enjoy things at our pace. Mauricio was very flexible and considered our preferences in everything we did. We would strongly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Guadalajara.
We were extremely pleased that Jesus Agustin Salas was our guide, driver, actually he made the experience such an amazing time, it was more like taking a trip with a friend. The knowledge and experience that Jesus has, as well his friendliness with not only us, but that with the different employees we encounter during our tours was outstanding. He was the reason why we were shown, and giving more then you would have expected to have seen or experience. Seeing and learning what happens behind the scenes made the tour more personal and memorable. Meeting the shop owner, who welcomed us into his shop, seeing his skills in action as he created art work out of volcanic glass was incredible. To hear and learn the history of his family, and the generations before him was something that needs to be told, and was an honor and privilege. Without Jesue, I'm sure our tour would have been just another, here ya go, head down that path, you see what you came to see. There's the gift shop etc. Our day, the entire experience was amazing I wouldn't want anyone else, and wouldn't recommend you go with anyone else other then Jesus for your private, once in a lifetime experience. Jesus, thank you Sir for your time, patience, and for an amazing experience, which we will never forget. The Hat looks great on you. Mark & Barbra. Georgia USA
Jesus was an excellent guide and accommodating to cover all the things we wanted to see and do. He was polite and safe driver
