Private Full-Day Tour to Gocta Waterfall
Description
Start your day with a transfer from your hotel in Chachapoyas to the beginning of the trail leading to Gocta Waterfall. Enjoy a hike of approximately 2 to 3 hours through diverse landscapes, including cloud forests and agricultural areas. Upon arrival, admire the impressive waterfall, which stands about 771 meters tall. Have time to explore and take photos. Finally, return to the starting point and are transferred back to your hotel in Chachapoyas.

To get to Cocachimba it is a 2-hour walk around the trip. Cocachimba is a paradise in the middle of the jungle that houses different waterfalls, including Gocta, one of the highest waterfalls in the world.

- Pick-up is available from hotels located in Chachapoyas historic centre - This activity does not include the pick up from private residences (Airbnb). If you stay in them, please contact us days prior the start of the tour to coordinate a meeting point for the pick-up.

- Travel accessories: sunglasses and retainer strap, sun block and lip balm, toiletry kit, small washcloth, personal first-aid kit.
- It is recommended to bring local currency (peruvian Sol), for drinks, snacks, tips, souvenirs and for horseback riding service, if you require it.
- January, February and March is the rainy season. Access to tourist sites is not guaranteed at this time.

It’s a breathtaking experience but strenuous. We pre-booked horses for the first half of the trek which helped a lot Roger was a great guide with a lot of information including bird life
