Fantastic tour of Shanghai

The tour was great. Cathy had a lot of information on the history of Shanghai from the ancient dynasties to the modern culture. We visited many of the popular tourist attractions, ate at a local restaurant with fantastic food, and I was able to shop for everyone on my list. I highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to see Shanghai in a day. I also recommend booking a private car as it saves me travel time and allowed us to spend more time at each stop.

Why would you ever go on a group Tour you could do a private tour!

What a great day. Why would you ever sign up for a group to can you do this with a guide of your own and if it's a couple it's even cheaper. Celine was absolutely amazing she had to have the Tour two my likes and wants. We had so much fun. It was like I made a new Chinese sister. Highly highly recommend. As for Celine if she's available but she usually only works weekends. This is the only way to see Shanghai is with your own exclusive private guide. And please don't forget to tip at least 10 or 20%

A hard to beat experience!

After struggling on my own in Beijing, I chose to splurge on 3 days with Jenny’s tours. I normally like to figure out things by myself, but I’m so glad I booked a tour. I enjoy taking public transportation, and took the opportunity to learn the system from an expert for when I was on my own again. Troy was our guide and he had a seemingly magical ability to both lead then blend into the background while you enjoyed the sights. He was always ready with information about our locations, and never seemed caught off guard by my very random questions. We had some small modifications to how we wanted to spend our time, and since it was a private tour, that was of course no problem. I would gladly spend the extra money to do a private tour with Jenny’s again.

Highlights of Shanghai w/ private guide

This Shanghai Highlight private tour was the 2nd tour I booked with Jenny’s Shanghai Tours while on my visit. I did a solo private all day tour with Peggy. She customized the tour on areas that I wanted to go to as I had a list and pretty much ticked off most of the areas. Peggy was so knowledgeable about every place we visited especially at the Jade Budda Temple and Yu Garden. I was so amazed and appreciated the detailed information. If I visited these places on my own I would have missed out on the all the history of these iconic places. Peggy also graciously helped me to find this jewelry store that I couldn’t remember the name of and figured it out and restaurant recommendations. I had a great time touring with Peggy as she is very easy to have conversations with. I would highly recommend Jenny’s Shanghai Tours and Peggy as you will have a guide that is experienced, knowledgeable and professional. Thank you Jenny!

Equally enjoyable was the time spent on the new & modern wonders of Shanghai. Highly recommend the tour and the tour guide.
