Itinerary
Plitvice Lakes National Park is one of the oldest and largest national parks in Croatia. In 1979, Plitvice Lakes National Park was added to the UNESCO World Heritage register. When you get to the entrance, your guide will pick up the tickets, and then you will start your sightseeing. The first part of the path takes about two hours, and it goes from the entrance to the biggest waterfall called 'Veliki slap'. Then head toward the lake Kozjak where you will make a 45-minute break. Here, you'll take a boat over the Lake Kozjak, from lower lakes to upper lakes. When you get to the other side of the Lake Kozjak, your walk continues to the place where you will take the electric train. This electric train takes you from your finish point to the exit of the park. Then depart from Plitvice at around 3pm, and return to Zadar at around 5pm.

A wonderful experience mainly due to a real professional guide. Of course, the spectacular site of Plitvice Lakes and their environment are also to take in account.
This visit to Plitvice lakes was only better because of Ivan and Lucy!!! Ivan was a wealth of knowledge not only about the national park but gave us great information about the area all along our trip from Zadar! So kind and patient with us! It was a beautiful day and cannot recommend it, Ivan and Lucy enough! We also got a great dinner recommendation from Lucy! Thank you so very much. We will never forget our time 💙
Plitvice National Park is a must see. Amazing views and beautiful clear water. Our tour guide was friendly, professional and very knowledgeable.
Going to Plitvice Lakes was a highlight of our trip. Ina was an amazing guide and we had a fabulous day
We had a great guide, very knowledgeable and personable. Beautiful park with lots of lakes and waterfalls. We walked for about an hour initially, then took about a 25 minute boat ride, walked again for about an hour. Maybe a total of around 3 hours. At the end, you do have a significant upward climb, but you can stop and rest a little. Not a good place for anyone with mobility issues or difficulty walking uphill.
