The Cocora valley is absolutely beautiful. I loved that our guide David was so genuinely passionate about this place, his story telling made us really appreciate the beauty of this place. We had time to walk around Salento and what a vibrant place! Lunch was fabulous, and plentiful!! Truly authentic Colombian cuisine, and thanks to David we were able to meet the owner who is a legend in this town! Finally we opted for the artisanal coffee making adventure where we were able to be hands on, learning the whole process from picking the coffee to roasting the beans. We actually drank the coffee we roasted! I can’t say enough about our guide. David is knowledgeable, passionate and kind. We had a great day thanks to him!
