Arthur planned an amazing trip to the best spots on the island! He is very knowledgeable and personal and made the all day trip well paced. Highly recommended booking with him! Best way to see all of the island.
Arthur, our guide, was recommended to us by our friend who lives in Tahiti. We were a group of 4 friends and a 6 month old baby and we booked the whole day island tour. Arthur shared his immense knowledge of the island's history and culture and showed us beautiful places and waterfalls, allowing us ample time in each spot to be able to really soak it all in. He was also really great with our 6 month old and even played baby music in the car when she started crying. It's the little things! The van was roomy, clean and comfortable. I highly recommend booking with Arthur!
We had the absolute pleasure of spending a full day with Arturo exploring Tahiti, and it was hands down one of the highlights of our trip. From the moment we met him, Arturo set the tone with his warm personality, great sense of humor, and genuine passion for his island. He was incredibly knowledgeable — sharing stories, history, and local insights that brought Tahiti to life in a way no guidebook ever could. What truly set Arturo apart was how attentive he was to every member of our group. He came prepared with cold water and fresh fruit throughout the day, which we appreciated more than words can say in that heat. And when our 6-month-old got fussy in the car, he didn't miss a beat — he switched on kids' music without hesitation and turned a stressful moment into a smile. That kind of thoughtfulness is rare. Professional, funny, caring, and genuinely passionate about what he does — Arturo is simply the best tour guide we've ever had the chance to meet. If you're visiting Tahiti, do not hesitate to book with him. You will not regret it. Highest possible recommendation!
Excellent tour, Maui was a great guide, very knowledgeable. He ensured we saw everything the island had to offer. Reserved lunch at the restaurant, food was great. Provided us with water and snacks (fresh local fruit). Dropped us off at the airport when the tour was finished. Would highly recommend this tour to anyone with the time.
Thank you so much for your beautiful words Michelle! It truly means a lot to us to hear that you enjoyed your day discovering Tahiti with Maui. We always try to make our tours feel relaxed, personal, and memorable, so knowing you appreciated the island stops, the local fruits, and the lunch experience makes us really happy. It was a pleasure spending the day with you, and thank you again for choosing us for your time in Tahiti. We hope to welcome you back one day for more island adventures! 🌺🌴🙏
On our last day visiting Tahiti we had a chance to take a full day private island tour with Artur of Saffron Road Tahiti Tours. He was very professional and did an outstanding job making us comfortable providing cold water and snacks during the tour. His attention to detail and mindfulness was very appreciated. Umbrellas, cool wipes, WiFi, towels and bug spray were available during the trip. Artur met us promptly with his air conditioned, spacious van at the cruise port, and he was able to store our luggage safely in the back of his vehicle. We started the tour with a short walk over to Papeete Market across the port to check out the vendors there. An additional tour guide named Maui also joined us on our journey, and he was very pleasant and easy to talk with as well. You could tell both guides were very enthusiastic and happy in showing the island to visitors, and they made us feel very welcome with their personable approach. We learned many interesting facts, visited lush gardens, experienced fantastic waterfalls, and saw pristine beaches. Maui and Artur seemed to know a lot of locals wherever we went which was also very cool to see. They did their best to try to find a spot for showers for us near the end of the tour, but unfortunately we were not able to do that. Tahiti is so hot we were hoping to take a shower somewhere before our flight home. We were able to wash up a bit though at a local marina. I can understand it is quite difficult to find private shower facilities, and they did their best to try to accommodate our request. Artur did a fantastic job planning our itinerary after I emailed him about what we were interested in seeing and our plans for lunch and dinner. He helped set up lunch at a really nice local restaurant right next to the water where we saw fish swimming around. He also arranged a classy spot to have dinner right next to the marina where we could see the fancy yachts docked nearby which had very clean washrooms. Overall it was truly a VIP experience that Artur and Maui of Saffron Tahiti Tours provided us. They went above and beyond what I would have expected from a tour company. I can honestly recommend them to anyone wanting to see the beautiful island of Tahiti. I wish them all the best, and thank them for the wonderful tour!
