Meet up your friendly private guide at 8:00am at Tianjin International Cruise Port. Then you will be transferred to Binhai Railway Station. Experience China Bullet train. You will reach the downtown of Tianjin in 29 minutes with a fast speed of 350kilometers/hour (220m/h).
Then you will be transferred to Tianjin Shijia Mansion. It was built in 1875 with beautiful furniture, art, gardens and give a glimpse of what life use to be like for a wealthy merchant's family.
Savor a delightful Tianjin Style Lunch. Explore the Ancient Culture Street (Gu Wenhuajie). Walk through the traditional alleys. Please feel free to get your goodies. There are tons of traditional stores such like fans, jade, silver jewelry, clay Zhang, silk embroidery. Chinese art, calligraphy brushes..etc. At the end of the tour, your tour guide and driver will transfer you back to Tianjin International Cruise Port. Tours end at 4:00pm.

We were met at cruise port and taxied to Train Station where we caught the bullet train first class to Tianjin. Unbelievable train ride, didn't feel like we were travelling at 279kms, but that's what the readout said! Taxied to Shi Family Mansion it was great to see rooms fitted out with furniture, and objects relevant to the period. Lunch, omg, 8 courses of the most amazing meals, 9 if you counted one that came out twice! Ancient Cultural street for sights and shopping, Would have liked to stay longer and shopped more, if we go back next time will do so. Sunflower Li was friendly, looked after us so well, drinks and snacks offered. A well of information throughout the tour. The taxis were luxurious people movers with plenty of room for everybody to stretch out. Definetly contact Sunflower Li and she will organize the tour to suit your needs. Take a camera, comfortable shoes and be prepared to be amazed.
